I applied to chemistry department and I didn't receive my recommendation mail till today cos my transcript didn't get to ui till 13th of February but I had to go to the pgschool to confirm if I've been recommended by the department and if my transcript has been seen. I suggest you find out if your transcript has been since and if you scored above .40,if so relax you will soon receive a mail. don't lose hope until the second batch of admission letters have been given cos there's a second batch

I scored 50, but wenhad an oral interview, dont knw what criteria that was used, my transcript as been acknowledged on my applicati8n status, jt gettih worried, called a lect and he said the department would decide if they woukd consider more people for apllication

@Bidlife, when u get to pgschool, did u confirm dat if someone's transcript have not been seen, recommendation mails will not be sent even though d person has been recommended by d dept.
