My opinion in conclusion - if is not costing you to be patient for some while to see if things would change then keep the job

In putting up this post I tried to be as detailed as possible just to convey my message....

- I have communicated my pain point to all major stakeholders including the CEO..but they just wanted me to maintain status quo with no commitment or time line of attending to my needs

- I took my time too, didn't rush to resign I consider earlier suggestions from family and friends and hold my peace for some time
- I don't how soon I will get another but I will be ok

You should inform the company 2 months ahead of time, tell them you are applying for a fellowship or skill upgrade and as such don't have any choice than to leave. You can't say, you may need them later on along the ladder

The dollar gig you're on about, hope it's consistent? Sometimes we need to be slow in taking critical decisions as these. But if you feel you've got everything covered, don't quit your job with any bad blood, remember that a new employer may require you to get a reference from your last work place. Even if they don't, it's good to remain gentlemanly in your interactions with people.

Can't predict the future but even if the dollar gig would go away am ure it won't be immediately...

I have also taken my time to make sure that my notice of resignation wasn't sent during the period of tension with some of my bosses...

I intend to give my notice and see it through....

Never go back on your word once you drop it. If you must change your mind then do it without letting anyone know you have the plan of resign. Don’t accept any convincing or talking out. If you do go back on your word then you can only get lucky if you’re not sacked or abandoned in the future

Secondly don’t be truthful with the exact reason you’re leaving, they know already since you have tried to address it in the past and never fold if they try to sweet talk you out. Rather simply divert attention by saying you need some personal stuff they never would be able to meet.

Try not to burn bridge or sound confrontational, you already made your biggest statement by dropping the letter of resignation. Everything else is about well wishes and goodbye.

I'm planning to resign from my full time role tomorrow Monday 5th of August....

This role pays me #300k net alongside data and other few allowances. But over the last couple of months more stuffs have been dump on my table without adequate compensation...

I have tried to have a conversation with the management to further review my take home to match the additional responsibilities but it's failing on deaf ears with no commitment to my request all I get is more work...

I have delayed this to accommodate the fears of friends and family but I do have another hustle that pays me in dollars that actually meets my needs so I'm thinking of leaving this Naira one to focus on that one and use my extra time to prepare for something better......

My resignation letter is ready and I will drop it after our weekly meeting tomorrow morning except a divine intervention stops me....

So my people do you have any words for me? I will that if any......

That's great to hear, but it's still a good idea for the prospective students to have official confirmation of this good news from the right authority in order to avoid wasting their time and money on a certificate that cannot be used to get employment home or abroad.
