BusinessRe: World Bank Reports Expansion In Nigerian Manufacturing Sector by rufusigbokwe: 1:38am On May 22, 2018
Rosskii:
You cannot neglect manufacturing. A huge country like Nigeria, with 200 million people NEEDS to become a manufacturing giant, or she will have to spend untold billions of dollars importing goods she can produce at home. Smaller countries like Ghana and Kenya can afford to specialize in the digital sector alone. Not Nigeria.
True, but how many Nigerians can Manufacturing employ and pay well?
Switzerland built an economy on finance. There are countries who import almost everything but still net positive. We have a huge market yes, but also a large population. Digital can help us equip youths faster and get them earning even in foreign currency. How many manufacturing outfits are larger in valuation than the tech unicorns who are all less than 20 years old?
PoliticsJust Discovered We Have A Digital Rights Bill - NASS Not As Clueless by rufusigbokwe(op): 1:35am On May 22, 2018
I had always wondered if our National Assembly did any else than cater for themselves. From fat allowances to fights with IGP, Customs and everybody. Almost gave up on our reps until someone pointed out the only good thing they've done all year. Which is to pass the digital rights bill (For those who don't know find it here https://lists.ng/10-things-know-digital-rights-freedom-bill/ )

What this means is the same rights Nigerians enjoy offline (if any), we can now enjoy online.
Is this a flux or futuristic planning?
