Personally, I might not like him for decamping to PDP , after been elected on another party's ticket! But I have been to Dutse, Hadeija and other parts of Jigawa severally, during my stint at Takai,Kano State.
This man has transformed Jigawa State with little allocation, compared to my state, Delta! I saw housing estates and hospitals built with my eyes! This was 3 years ago, not even today!
Do you think OBJ, an International savvy politician, will pick a nobody to be his foreign minister? He simply left PDP , when he was not given the ticket, and returned when he made his peace with GEJ! This same man was tipped and prodded by OBJ to challenge GEJ, with Amaechi as his running mate!
This is the genesis of the Amaechi saga! The same OBJ , who denied both of them a governorship ticket and seat, deceived them to challenge GEJ! Nigerian politicians will never learn from the past!
He made history as the first governor , whose son will be convicted on corruption charges! He received kickbacks, perhaps, on behalf of his father.
Lamido has his failings, but, strong leadership is not one of them . I foresee a Lamido or Ribadu/ Peter Obi ticket , come 2019!
Yeah, you may laugh and yawn at this , but , only a myopic and less travelled Nigerian will think that GEJ will score less than 90% of South South votes,and 80% of South East votes! I am not a fan of his or GMB! I am neither a optimist or pessimist, but, a realist!
The old guard has failed us, and they are recruiting "efulefu",as our Igbo brothers will call them,useless fellows from among the young ones,and are grooming them for the future!
Just take a cursory look at all the States House of Assembly! Unless, we all arise and work, more political misfits like GEJ and GMB, will arise as main Presidential Candidates!

Amaechi never wanted to be VP. The reason he was in the running was because his fellow governors supported him. They had enjoyed his leadership as the leader of the governors forum, and felt he was going to replicate his leadership at the national level. That being said, as the DG of the Buhari campaign team, we believe that as a master in the game of politics, he will match propaganda by the PDP for Propaganda in getting us our 25% in the region. Behold a new dawn is setting. The clueless man must be sacked, he is a total failure!

U are more clueless than GEJ! Amaechi will grant APC how many percent? I laugh in Swahili? How many times do you think Tinubu has been to Delta State? The only time he came, his candidate got less than 7000 votes in a Governorship election! Buhari was allocated 2000 votes! Delta State politics is remote controlled by James Ibori from his UK cell! All his candidates defeated the candidates of the Governor, his cousin! Even the Governor was scared of contesting for Senate!
The first time Amaechi came to Delta State was to take an helicopter to visit Chief E.K. Clark at Kiagbodo , to thank him for his support during his struggle to reclaim his governorship mandate! Tonye Princewill withdrew his case against Amaechi for the sake of Rivers, even against the advice of Tinubu and Atiku! He later resigned his party membership, just for the sake of Rivers State! The records are there! Let's go to Akwa Ibom! GEJ will get 95% of the vote ! Or is it Cross River State, who born monkey? Edo State will be cleaned by PDP! Don't be deceived that the governor is APC! The people are too smart to fall for party gimmick at the national level! Bayelsa State is a forgotten issue!
Please, forget your paymasters for once and plant your feet on earth! The true godfathers of the Niger Delta remains Ibori, Alamseigha, and Akpabio! Forget sentiment!

Those from Delta Central and South distrust those from the North, based on one simple reason- they love gloating and scheming! Okowa has not won the election and yet , his kinsmen has started planning how to share the state resources!
How many votes were cast in Delta North during the last Presidential elections? Compare it to the Central and North? Okowa needs toxic votes from Warri North, if not, he is cooked goose! And if you don't know, Uduaghan, Emami and Ejele holds the key to the Itsekiri voting system! He has to come to terms with them, and as you know,our allocations will be involved, or else, the Ngige saga will happen again ! If he does not cooperate, they will blackmail him with electoral malpractices! That is what Uba used to destroy Ngige, and Obi won the case! The people will always be a loser! The leaders ganged up against Engr Kragha , a petroleum godfather in Norway,in 1999, because they felt that Ibori is a bridge between the Itsekiris and Urhobos. He played a fast one on them later.
I weep for Delta State because our future is really bleak, compared to the rest of the Niger Delta. We are the piggy bank of PDP!

Even Uduaghan said and I quote " I know that many of you will switch your television off. I am sorry"!!! He said during his thanksgiving at World of Life Bible Church! Ned Nwoko and his supporters not from Delta North? He was saved by toxic votes from the creeks! Most Nigerians have one thing in common - they have the attention span of a house fly! You all have forgotten that he was smuggled into the Senate by INEC! He was beaten by Hon. Ned Nwoko! Just google it and find out the date that he was declared winner or if any ceremony took place where he was given a Certificate by INEC. Senators Ewherido and Manager was declared winners, but Okowa, abeg forget him matter! When others went to Senate, when did he go?

Thief, sorry, Chief Ibori took Delta State a bit forward, though , he stole half of the total allocations for 8 years ! The affidavits are there! But his hand picked successor, Udu , dragged Delta State backwards to the Dark Ages! Okowa is too meek to bell the cats that feed fat on Delta State ' s allocation !
Until a man with balls of steel and a heart of gold rules Delta, we will continue to live in the Dark Age!

My firm only send local staff to study at Gubkin,Russia or TU Clausthal, Germany. He got admission on his own at Austria,hence he is pursuing it , without backing from the Legal Department.
So, if you can't make a positive comment, it is more matured to let it slide.

A colleague of mine is in a conundrum . He got admission to study Masters in Austria, and also on company sponsorship. Since company policy rejects the use of company bank accounts for staff welfare, the money is usually transferred into the account of the Welfare Manager, who is also his Uncle. 3 million Naira was transferred prior to his application . The Alien Office at Austria contacted him through their Embassy in Nigeria, that he has to show more financial proof. He sent them a bank statement of 3 months ( that's d rule, not 6 months ), closing balance of 2.1 million Naira . He is worried about his chances of getting his permit!

In Nigeria, we have more functional illiterates than stark illiterates! One does not have to be a Mathematics Professor to be able to count the points in the Star of David, the Arewa symbol and the sign on the Naira note! The Star of David has more points while that on the currency matches the Arewa sign.
My opinion is this- the symbol is more Nigerian than the Ajami sign!
@all, I think we should be careful when commenting on issues that border on religious issues. MURIC is tainted with bias and bile in most of their press release. In the South West, it was fear of losing Lagos,that made Tinubu to foist a Christian candidate on APC and on Fashola, despite his preference for Hamzat, a Muslim! Can The leaders of MURIC place their hands on the Koran in public, and swear that Jonathan is the one dividing the country on religious line, not their Northern brothers? Can they swear on the Koran that Jonathan said that Christians should vote for only Christians, just like one of their brother did ? Yaradua goes on Hajj,and takes path in the stoning ceremony of Saytan, it is not news, but Jonathan goes to Jerusalem and prays in the tomb of Christ, that is newsworthy!Can they swear on the Koran that Jonathan's inaction is the root cause of illiteracy in the North, despite opening Almajiri schools and pumping money into Nomadic education, and spent zero Naira in establishing seasonal schools for children who lives in fishing camps in the creeks?
At times , we should be rational! There was no mention of the CBN Governor, the Finance Minister, Economic Planning Officials, Iweala or Usman, but they are asking the President to explain! That is a simple way of knowing what their agenda is! Misinformation! And to what end? The South West will be quiet and the "religious" ones up North , will set businesses ablaze, a la World Beauty Contest riots! I think it is time we start to think for ourselves, instead of viewing every issue through religious prism!

I bet you that the answer is Channels TV. When you watch any news emanating from Delta State, it is 100% slanted towards the Governor, not even PDP! Word on the street is that not only AIT and Vanguard Newspaper is taking a huge slice of Delta State allocation,now Channels TV is also enjoying their share of the bazaar! Bogus projects are been projected like El Dorado! I kept help but wonder why the emphasis on Delta State, when Akpabio is breaking records in Akwa Ibom, and he is shoved into the background!
