Nfpmod, pls take my thread to the promise land. Seun, I'll like to bribe you with this juicy mini-melon from my garden
|
This is the first fruit from the farm, when I came back from my travel, the first thing I did was taking knife, go straight to the garden, got hold of the first fruit and lo the juiciness 😎😎 I can now declare the bucket farming project is successful
|
Hello people, how Una dey? I'm back again to finally close this bucket farming project journal that I started a long time ago but abandoned when I turned into Ajala the Traveller. 😄 This time, I no bring grammar or stories. I came with results. Guys, I've finally eaten the fruit of my labour. 😜 The melons came out sweet like sugar, no exaggeration. The only issue is that they're mini melons. 😂 My guess is that it's because the seeds were recycled. From what I understand, these should be F2 generation seeds, while the person who first grew them enjoyed the full F1 hybrid potential. That said, I'm still happy with the outcome. From seed to harvest, it was an interesting experience, and at least I can now say the bucket farming experiment was a success. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-EImunEMEe0

Did you ever see it try this cooling technique before? |
In hot, rural regions of Africa, especially Northern Nigeria, people have developed a simple yet highly effective method to cool soft drinks without electricity. Known as the mud or earth cooling technique, this traditional practice involves burying glass or plastic bottles in moist soil to keep them refreshingly cold. The technique works through two natural principles: the stable, cooler temperature of underground soil and evaporative cooling. Moist earth absorbs heat from the bottles while gradual evaporation lowers the surrounding temperature. Glass bottles are preferred as they conduct heat efficiently, allowing the cooling effect to work rapidly. The procedure is straightforward. People select a shady spot under a tree, prepare a shallow mound or pit of slightly damp soil, and arrange dozens or even hundreds of soft drink bottles upright, pressing them firmly into the ground until only the necks are visible. A light covering of wet cloth or extra soil may be added for better insulation. Within 30 minutes to two hours, the drinks reach a pleasantly chilled temperature. This method offers significant advantages in areas with unreliable power supply. It is completely free, requires no equipment, and can handle large quantities of drinks at once, making it ideal for roadside sellers, parties, and village gatherings. Beyond its practicality, the technique reflects deep indigenous knowledge and environmental harmony. Though modern refrigeration is spreading, the African mud cooling method remains popular where electricity is scarce. It stands as a powerful example of human ingenuity, proving that effective solutions can be simple, sustainable, and rooted in nature. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ieUCDH30mQY

Now I believe this saying "Cheap things aren't really cheap" With this amount of fire, it's a sure recipe for house fire. |
Locally assembled lithium battery bank short-circuit, a catastrophic inferno will have occurred if not for the timely intervention of the house owner. Im not in anyway discouraging people from patronising locally assembled lithium battery power banks, but let's exercise cautious when buying, do not buy from non professional battery assembler all in the name of cheap, because not every cheap things are really cheap. Thank God for her timely intervention or else catastrophic loss from house fire will have occurred. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Q2PJIlUQFA

Is this cruise or he really can't sync his hands and leg's while marching? |
This hilarious moment from National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) camp shows one corps member that cant sync his hands and legs during orientation parade exercise and it’s impossible not to laugh. Turning a serious NYSC parade into pure comedy. You have to watch closely to see what went wrong 😭 Have you ever seen something like this in NYSC camp? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xrTOPux57PI?si=5pzcHmIsRMqP8MNw

It has nothing to do with shielding my sis or anything, cause I don't deal with bad guys or playa. It's just against my principle of friendship. You can't be my friend and brother in-law at the same time. Gotta choose one. |
