Foreign AffairsRe: US To Totally Control And Block The Strait Of Hormuz Today by 10AM by runningriot(op): 11:38pm On Apr 12
After a failed marathon negotiation filled with much tensed and distrust US are trying to prove a point that they will leverage against Iran by taking total control of the most sort out bride a move that any round of negotiation will favor them and give them an edge over Iran. However, Iran says that they can't be bully and threatened to take any swift and decisive actions should in case US goes ahead with their actions. This means the season 2 of this war is about to be unbox.
Foreign AffairsUS To Totally Control And Block The Strait Of Hormuz Today by 10AM by runningriot(op):
The CENTCOM released a statement saying a naval blockade will begin at 10am Eastern time tomorrow [1500GMT], April 13. That gives us a little over 12 hours from now.

They say the blockade will be enforced against vessels of all nations entering or departing Iranian ports and coastal areas, including all Iranian ports on the Arabian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman.

The statement goes on to say that CENTCOM forces will not impede freedom of navigation for vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz to and from non-Iranian ports.

Several points here are different from the threat we heard from Donald Trump on social media earlier.

You will recall he said that all ships that paid an Iranian toll would be pursued and interdicted in international waters. That is not what CENTCOM is saying. They are saying the US naval blockade will only impact vessels leaving or entering Iranian ports and coastal areas and that vessels not destined to or from those ports would have freedom of navigation through the strait.

To be clear: This blockade kicks in at 10am Eastern time on April 13 – tomorrow morning here in Washington. Source: Aljazeera

Tinubu told Jonathan to resign because of insecurity...Yoruba man speak without hypocrisy..haba!!
For the purpose of clarity I am not Yoruba. However, I am not a protagonist to what Tinubu did to Jonathan but I can't be having faulty reasoning not to say the truth! Atiku statement is very much expletive and inconsequential to the present security situation of the country his statement should bear the weight of elder stateman which resonate the consciousness of people through providing solutions to practical reality on ground but not to exacerbate issue by trying to be political correct.
PoliticsRe: ‘Jilli Airstrike A Devastating Failure’ — Atiku Condemns Bombing Of Traders by runningriot:
Politicking every necessary step that is inevitable for the security and economic betterment of our society to score cheap political goals is not only condemnable but dysfunctional. How can a place that has been warn by military to be a red flag and a mapped out plan for a no go area for civilians be seeing as a market square for traders? It then means anybody in that environment is a conspirator directly or indirectly! Any form of draconian contingency to put enemies in their place is a welcome. Many for human rights law use human shields with the help of those people to perpetrate evil... And now the best workable and demeaning language is for bombs to expose them.

The strike is inevitable because many people profits from terrorism directly or indirectly if not why will some certain individuals pratonize and prioritize a well known criminal hideout that has been raided multiple times? It means they are complicit to the atrocities of this vicious elements! For me bravo to our armed forces who works tirelessly and meticulously to see that we have a safe corridor of peace. For me any maximalist approach that will schedule these nefarious people to hell is welcome.

United States was not proactive in this war, ordinarily, they should have known that Iran would always hold on to the strait of Hormuz, so all efforts should have been concentrated on securing the place.

This time around Trump madness will be met with total and obliterated response! He dares not fight with the Pope and he can't. He can only grumble and swallow because the Pope is not like his regular toothless lapdogs from Europe that when he gives them a slap instead of a pat they still blow his trumpet the Pope is a divine man with a divine and physical backed authorative power... This is the most humorous comment of the century! This joke is taking to far that the governor should be giving standup comedian award. How do you expect your opponent, adversery and enemy to be the solution to your problems. Someone who is the architect and the engineer of your predicament, it is just like you going to your enemy to empower you with a gun to kill who...?
PoliticsRe: Plateau State Government Relaxes Curfew In Jos North by runningriot: 9:27pm On Mar 31
thesolutions:
Let me say this. The curfew was not necessary. It made the killing appear as a religious crisis.
This was a deliberate attempt to trigger religious unrest in the vicinity because there has been religious tension among the two religious groups. Maybe the terrorist forgot to shout Allahu Akbar to make it a religious act but that is unheard of about religious killings from Islamic terrorists.
No one accused any religious sect until after the curfew.
A little alarm was what was needed and a collaborative effort between the christian and Moslem community to apprehend the culprit but the curfew created religious tension.

It is high time for the Moslem community to start collaborating with the Christian counterpart to apprehend culprits involved in this kind of killings so they won't be seen as working together with the culprits.

You won't see the culprits running into christian communities but into already segregated Moslem communities.
I beg to be differ sir, with the fragility of how Plateau state particularly Jos is when it comes to religious issues the government did the best thing to impose that curfew after seeing the gory photos and videos of the gruesome killing of the unprovoked people and the immediate negative reaction of their loved ones. Looking at how the youths especially from the Christian wing were agitating if not for the curfew the situation would have escalated and spiral into an uncontrollable bloody events...The maximalist contingence and measures were not only necessary but mandatory if not there would have been multiple reprisal attacks that would have worsen the situation. Apparently, both christians and muslims share blames in Jos religious crisis. Why will innocent people be passing on the road and will be attacked to death unprovoked? Why will you take your cows to someone farm destroyed the farm products and still kill the farmer when he protest? Equally, for you to say that it was not a religion issue you get it wrong. Where the attack happened is almost encapsulated with muslims population why carefully chosen that christian area to launch the attack? Why then was the quick visitation of Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo and the America missionary activist Alex Babir?

Plateau state has become a theater of wars. Over time with a reasonable numbers of years now Plateau state is the only state battling with religious wars and crisis. A state once known with the slogan of home of peace and tourism has now become a home of war and bloodshed...
PoliticsRe: Pantami Reconciles El-rufai And Gov. Uba Sani At Funeral by runningriot: 7:17am On Mar 30
doneyor:

At the quiet courtyard of the Abuja National Mosque, grief hung gently in the air as mourners gathered for the funeral prayer of Hajiya Umma El-Rufai. Among them stood two men whose strained relationship had become a subject of public conversation—Nasir El-Rufai and his successor, Uba Sani.

They arrived separately, each surrounded by aides, each carrying not just the weight of loss, but the tension of unresolved differences. Eyes followed them, whispers moved through the crowd. No one expected more than a distant acknowledgment—if even that.

Then came Isa Ali Pantami.
Known for his calm presence and moral voice, Pantami moved quietly between the two men. He first greeted El-Rufai, offering words of comfort. Then he turned to Uba Sani, speaking softly, almost inaudibly amid the murmurs. After a brief moment, he gently signaled for both men to come closer.

There was a pause—the kind that stretches longer than time itself.
For a second, it seemed uncertain.
Then, slowly, they stepped forward.

What followed was simple, yet powerful: a handshake. Not forced, not dramatic—just firm enough to carry meaning. The crowd fell silent, as if witnessing something more than a greeting. In that moment, grief had done what politics could not—it softened hearts.

Pantami stood between them, not as a politician, but as a bridge.

No speeches were made. No declarations followed. But the message was clear: even in disagreement, humanity remains.

As the prayer concluded and the crowd began to disperse, many left with more than sorrow—they carried a quiet hope that perhaps, just perhaps, this moment marked the beginning of something new.
boss with this long epistle you end up writing the obvious opposite reality on ground, the tune, the handshake, the facial expression and above all the caption by El Rufai's son said it all... The reconciliation is nothing short of mockery and caricature of the reality on ground.
PoliticsRe: Pantami Reconciles El-rufai And Gov. Uba Sani At Funeral by runningriot: 9:14pm On Mar 29
Like the representation of the sarcastic caption by Malam's son to be a joke 🤣😂🤣 ridiculing the peace mediation process with LMOA. He went on by further making caricature of reconciliation by saying clearly and explicitly that one was ashamed and the other was indifference. This simply shows that the reconciliation is for the camera and as it was shown El Ruffai is not interested in the reconciliation as a matter of fact his facial expression said it all, even the handshake was not an exchange of love but forcefully enforced by Pantami.

that is the lie and propaganda that has been used to suppress the hausas for centuries. How come all the leadership roles (be it political, traditional, religious) are cornered by the fulanis? Why does this so- called oneness not extend to that? But when you want to hoodwink the hausa majority to keep being subservient you bring up this fake oneness.
God bless you abundantly boss, he was quick to say I am lying because their shenanigans are exposed right now with the the total, stiff and fierce resistance to this kind of inhuman subjugation. They are crying like town criers that Hausas and Fulanis are one how? you kno, I wanted to reply him but was just too lazy to type. Thank God you saw through his lies.
You were not indolent to reply but lack the basic fundamental rudiments to purge yourself from self inflected illusion on what I posted. What I said is the naked truth parading itself in the political ambiance of Kano state, even though it will be inconsequential to reply you consequently, it will be more fatal to allow you escape from your fallacies because my assessment is base on pragmatic and the practical reality on ground if you think I am throwing dust in the air go make a proper verification and research about all I said and ask these questions I raised:
1. Is it not true that Hausa constitute 70-90 of Kano population?
2. Is it not true that no Hausa man has ever govern Kano except all but Fulani and one Babur from Borno.
3. Is is equally not true that Kanawa, especially the young intelligent generation are strongly aspiring, agitating and yearning for a Hausa man to govern Kano?
4. And if it is not true that the combination of Kwankwaso and a formidable juggernaut Hausa man like Gawuna is not sending shockwaves there wouldn't be political upset, shake up and rapprochement in the Aso rock. Boss rest and take a nap not all live in political, religious, emotional and tribal congnetive bias like you.

If you truly know Kano then u should know that Hausa and Fulani have long become one. Its very rare to find a family that are solely Hausas without mixture of Fulanis or vice versa. I dont understand why or where this ideology of Hausa and Fulani differences is coming from. Propaganda from only God knows.
Boss it is imperative to know that I am not a slave to political propaganda and deep inside you, you know that what I said is the organic truth. The burning agitation and yearning in Kano right now especially from the spectrum of the youth is that a Hausa man should rule, as a matter of fact must rule. However, I am not disputing the fact that long cultural integration has almost made Hausa and Fulani in Kano to be one but just like they could identify Kwankwaso, Ganduje and Abba to be Fulani the people are also wise now to think of the majority tribe the Hausa to also occupy the sit of governorship so stop consoling yourself with emotions and fallacies that a Hausa man in Kano is not tired of a Fulani man ruling them...

PoliticsRe: Gawuna’s Phone “not Reachable” As Tinubu Mounts Pressure To Stop His Defection by runningriot: 7:50pm On Mar 25
This might be true that Nasir Yusuf Gawuna is the newest sort out bride in Kano because Kano being the headquarters of Hausa and constituting 90% of the Hausas has never seen a Hausa man occupying the sit of governorship. Surprisingly, all but one of the serving and previous governors are Fulani except Malam Ibrahim Shekarau who trace his origin from the Babur tribe of Borno State. Politically economically and royally Kano is the hands of the Fulanis. Right now the awareness, agitation and pressure is intense and very high that an indigenous Kano man from the Hausa extraction must become a governor and now that the star has been sited with Kwankoso approval it will be a pyrrhmic victory...

Concerning the balance of power, please do you mean the Minister of power( do you mean he's giving us electricity) or POWER( Strength of the army in decimating terrorists and kidnappers)?
In political science balance of power is when their is equilibrium use of power by two states so as their will no be superiority or total balance by either of the side! However, contextually in Nigeria context there is at least inclusive and fair share of power between the two regions and three most popular and powerful tribes while other minorities are also taken along.
