Politics › Re: Ambassador To Mexico Called Tinubu A Known Drug Lord by ruzell86: 7:05am On Apr 23 |
helinues: If you actually understand the story of the drug, then perhaps you would have stopped the repetition of what we have corrected severally.
Tinubu was in accounting while in USA, back then, people do use him as an intermediary to send and receive money to Nigeria and USA.
One of his clients was into drug business, when he was arrested, he was asked where he kept the money, his record transactions showed he already remitted the money to Nigeria through an intermediary ( Tinubu).
Tinubu was charged to court for transacting drug money which he denied of knowing as the guy wasn't the only clients that use his Tinubu's service..He was acquainted from the case as he knew nothing about the proceedings.
With this explanation, that's if it's still logical to you, how is Tinubu a drug lord? This explanation sounds good only for a 2-5 year old kid. I mean, since he was acquitted or "acquainted" (like you called it). So, how come he hadn't visited the same country he worked as an accountant since that case file. Moreso, even as a sitting President and despite his many travels, he has carefully avoided a trip to the USA unlike his predecessors including PMB. This is very unlike him, who is a "Democrat." Atleast, I'm sure if for nothing else, but economic purpose, he would like to meet the POTUS ahead of those of France, Brazil, St. Kitts, the Gambia etc. Abeg, this 1993 dots you dey try to connect no clear at all... no let CIA catch you o. AmazingELixir: You can not draw a straight analogy between an institution of higher learning as UI and Lagos state in general...the demographic paints a complete contrasting picture.
Open defecation does not happen in UI, The App is workable there because it allows educated people with smart phones to locate conveniences and clean ones in real time, conversely the case of Lagos state is different the targeted people are mostly homeless illiterates, touts and miscreants with no means of accessing the App. Thank you for the bolded. Exactly what these people are failing or simply refusing to see. @Naptu, Good luck ! |

naptu2: 🤣 ruzell86 is another one that believes that only homeless and uneducated people urinate and defecate in public in Lagos.
One of the joys of the election season is that you have these people that come to entertain you with comedy.
One of the down sides is that you can't have serious discussions. My friend, it's not the way you see it. My moniker wasn't registered for elections sake. I'm a Nigerian (as it stands) and I want a system that functions well not just for me, but also for my offsprings. I do not believe so much in Japa. So, I shouldn't criticize a Govt not working as expected because of sycophancy ? Please You might need to visit the Orile - badagry express axis and see things yourself regarding open defecation, and not what you read online. |

Bosman17: Minds that only see problems… can we first see this work and then build on it? Lol, it's not so... he has only identified the root cause of the problem, which is systemic from a wholistical point of view. A case of you wanting to cure leprosy by using a paracetamol. The paracetamol or drug seller will benefit for his input, but the problem will likely persist since it's systemic. Why not deal with the root cause by eliminating the miscreants, touts etc as much as possible which equally will reduce the cases of open defecation. It's another LASG white elephant project IMO, with allies to benefit.... need I say more ? |

After all said and done.... we all know is still Tinubu that's pulling the string. But, unlike Lagos it won't work at the National level. Smart politicians like El-Rufai saw the moves just after the 2023 election, hence the kickbacks and prompting his resignation from the APC. At the end, we all know what we are doing. |

SixSeven: Young people aged 18 to 34 represent more than one-third (roughly 37%) of the total registered voters. In the lead-up to the 2023 elections, 84% of the 10 million newly registered voters fell into this age bracket.
What will ginger these young people to vote will definitely not be an old face again. It's not just in Nigeria. Youth usually want to have a say in politics by bringing change. It worked for Buhari's 2015 campaign, I think the internet will not help Atiku/Tinubu this time around. There are more records online than in the archive of newspapers where some people would have forgotten. If anything should give you that indication, it was what they did to verify Amupitan's phone number recently. The old people are digitally naive, these young folks are digitally native. The 2023 elections and how it was conducted also opened their eyes to the game of politics, something they were hitherto uninterested in. Carry this your failed statistics comot for here Data boy, if you no wan be unfortunate like naija's electricity. |

tony0806: So that power will return to the North? Which you and I know it's IMPOSSIBLE in 2027? See my friend, it's possible. That tide turned since the 2015 election using Buhari. It's the same game plan the current rulers played to get to power. Now, Jagaban isn't a gentleman (that's not in his dictionary) when it comes to retaining power. You need a landslide victory against someone like that, otherwise the 'snatching and grabbing tactic' will easily erase your little marginal win. An Atiku/Obi combo can surely give that landslide win, just like Yar'Adua/GEJ did in 2007. |

If Obi refuses to vice Atiku in this coming election, then, I can admit he works for PBAT. In fact and you won’t disagree with me unless you want to be lying to yourself, this is the first time we will be having a president who’s bold enough to challenge the status quo. He is the cabal himself. This is the kind of leader we need for this country to work. “Nice” man can’t transform Nigeria. This Yoruba man is feared and in fact, fear sef Dey fear am. Nobody is saying he’s not corrupt but at least, this one is not denying and isn’t forming saint like some people🤣 OBJ was a boy boy to the northern oligarchs while GEJ dared not cough when the north were speaking. That’s the point my friend. I like Jagaban so much, and really admire his wit to some extent. But all you wrote here are wrapped in sentiments. I will be proud if his tenure delivered good governance (like he criticized when in opposition), but reverse is the case for 3 years now and even worse. We need a country that works, not fight the North. |
