I know where to pick up a pedigree. But I am not interested in owning a dog for now.

The story about my brother happened over 15 years ago. When he just left sec school and I still an undergraduate. And my experience in Jos happened at least 3 years later. My knowledge and taste has quite improved a bit since then.

I am trying to be polite and not demean your post, but I see you took offense at what I posted even though it was sopposed to be on a lighter mood.

But if as at that period I could afford a puppy for that amount which was the standard price as at then you trying to insinuate now I can't afford to get a pedigree puppy now?

If you want DNA test done on your pup then you should not be looking for a dog of 150k

And yes if you know what an actual pedigree dog is (DNA testing must be done and the dog/ litter DNA profiled) the major difference btw non peds and pedigree dogs

But luckily if you still want to run DNA test after buying this particular non ped pup yes you can after paying your 200k
You can take samples of both sire and dam

And run the test with your own money

Perhaps you'd understand the work put into pedigree pups and why they're sold that much and not cheap like non peds

In btw to clear you we don't falsify dog parents

Anyone fit make mistakes though me self don buy 2 Rottweiler puppies from one guy for Jos wey turn out to be mixed breed as they dey grow.

The good thing be say I never pay the guy money completely so I go return them after about 2 weeks with me. The guy argue tire say na me no dey feed them well na why... But even if you no fit tell the difference because all puppies dey look cute and beautiful but as they grow their pureness must to show na.

I still see the remaining puppies wey dey with the guy and no difference...all na ekuke pro max. Him wey dey feed them well.

I no get anything against ekuke o but no just sell ekuke for the price of pure breed.

And when these dog sellers want sell you they go fit go any extent to prove the parents of the puppy. These pictures now, I no go surprise if the op lift those pictures from another place and no be the real father be that... Maybe dogs too need DNA testing o. Abi?

The breed is a boring one and it's already saturated

To be a successful breeder you must be passionate about the breed you're going for

You don't like it doesn't mean others shouldn't
Find your fancy and don't try to understand why others fancy sth

The major reason you should ever consider breeding is how much you feel connected and interested in that breed before anything else

And yes the German shepherd remains the best of breed out there

The more I get to work with em the more fascinated I become
There are lot I'm yet to still uncover its a large world
