Tinubu establishes Credit Guarantee Company with N100 billion initial capital, appoints board

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has established the National Credit Guarantee Company Limited (NCGC) and approved the appointment of its board and management team.

The disclosure was contained in a statement released by the Presidency on Thursday.

As part of the rollout, Tinubu appointed former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara, as Chairman of the NCGC Board, while Mr. Bonaventure Okhaimo will serve as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer.

The new institution, backed by an initial capital of N100 billion, is designed to de-risk lending and expand access to finance for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), small corporates, manufacturers, consumers, and large businesses across Nigeria.

“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the establishment of the National Credit Guarantee Company Limited (NCGC), a transformative institution designed to de-risk lending and boost access to finance for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), Small Corporates, Manufacturers, Consumers and Large Enterprises across Nigeria,” the statement read in part.

It added, “President Tinubu has further approved the constitution of the Board and Management of NCGC with the appointment of Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara as Chairman of the Board and Mr. Bonaventure Okhaimo as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer.”

The statement noted that the move aligns with the President’s 2025 New Year message, where he promised to unlock credit access and stimulate inclusive economic growth.

Other key appointments include Mrs. Tinoula Aigwedo as Executive Director of Strategy and Operations; Dr. Ezekiel Oseni as Executive Director, Risk Management; and Ms. Yeside Kazeem, an experienced actuarial expert, as an Independent Non-Executive Director.

on his mid-term, saying that as the party and the government celebrate, the country should be reminded that leadership is a continuous journey.

Muhammadu Buhari called for steadfast support for the APC government as it marks its second year in offIce, explaining that reforms would achieve success gradually, not overnight.

He warned that necessary reforms and desired changes must not fall victim to nettlesome domestic politics.

He expressed support for the ongoing efforts by the administration to curb poverty and inflation, which he says have hit the poorest families the hardest, adding however that the task of reducing poverty and inflation, which is immense, must not be left only for the government.

“The private sector and all of us as citizens must join in all ways we can.”

He urged Nigerians to remain optimistic and stay confident about the country’s future.

“Our expectations from our governments should not get heavy,” President Buhari said in the conclusion of his message.

“I am wishing President Tinubu heartfelt congratulations on his two years in office. May you keep leading with wisdom and care.”

Its very simple , go and open an account with any of the banks , give them order to debit certain amount once it enters your account. set the new account that is being credit to withdraw only after 6 months. Continue working and betting with what is left . Have a strong plans on what to do with the money after 6month and do it immediately or fix it again.

The Seyi video was not a paparazzi video. It was the Vatican press that captured it. If you look at it you will see that the camera was not focused on him per se. If he had not strayed to the path of the camera, no one would have witnessed what happened

In the case of Obi, that camera was focused on him. Now, Obi is neither a head of delegation nor the pope to attract such interest that the camera is on him and still far enough to avoid being noticed. That shows that it was a deliberate camera probably put on him to capture any uncomfortable moment.

This is bad and bitter politics in my opinion. Who knows other dark and disgusting setups they have around him. Just because he dared to run for president?
