Kogi Youths Donate ₦100 Million for President Tinubu’s APC Nomination Form

Youths from Kogi State have donated the sum of ₦100 million in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as a show of confidence in his leadership and in anticipation of the 2027 general elections.

The donation was formally presented during a visit to the National Headquarters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja, with the delegation led by the Governor of Kogi State, Ahmed Usman Ododo.

The delegation was received by the National Chairman of the APC, Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, at a brief but symbolic ceremony at the party’s secretariat.

Speaking at the event, Governor Ododo described the donation as a powerful expression of grassroots support for President Tinubu, particularly among young Nigerians.

He noted that the gesture reflects the confidence of Kogi youths in the President’s vision and reform agenda.
“This contribution by our youths clearly demonstrates their belief in President Tinubu’s leadership and their readiness to support him for another term,” Governor Ododo said. “It sends a strong message that the people of Kogi State stand firmly with him.”

In his remarks, the APC National Chairman commended the youths for what he described as a patriotic and voluntary act. He said the donation underscores the growing political consciousness and engagement of young Nigerians, adding that such support is reassuring for the party’s future.

He further remarked that, with this gesture, there would be no need for further donations toward the President’s nomination form.

The ₦100 million donation is earmarked specifically for the purchase of the APC presidential nomination form ahead of the 2027 elections.

Representatives of the Kogi youths explained that the funds were mobilised through community-based contributions and fundraising efforts, driven by widespread enthusiasm for the President’s reforms in infrastructure development, security, and economic growth.

The APC leadership expressed appreciation for the gesture and reaffirmed the party’s commitment to inclusive governance and youth participation in national development.

FCT Polls: A Clear Endorsement of President Tinubu’s Reforms — APC National Chairman

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor entawe Goshwe Yilwatda, has described the outcome of the weekend elections in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Kano and Rivers States as a resounding endorsement of the ongoing reforms and governance direction of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In a statement issued on Sunday by Abimbola Tooki, Special Adviser to the National Chairman of APC, Yilwatda said the overwhelming support recorded by the party, particularly in the nation’s capital, reflects the confidence of Nigerians in the Renewed Hope Agenda and their belief that the current reforms will ultimately lead the country to its desired destination.

“I heartily congratulate our teeming supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Federal Capital Territory, Kano, and Rivers States on the successful, peaceful and credible conduct of the Saturday, 21st February 2026 polls. The victories recorded by our great party are a clear testament to the resilience, unity and grassroots strength of the APC,” the statement read.

According to the Chairman, the outcome of the FCT Area Council elections carries special national significance.

“The Abuja election, in particular, is a powerful statement by Nigerians from all walks of life that they stand firmly with President Tinubu and his bold reform agenda. As residents of the nation’s capital, their verdict sends a strong message of widespread support, renewed hope and confidence in the ability of this administration to reposition Nigeria for sustainable growth and prosperity.”

He congratulated the five APC Chairmanship candidates who emerged victorious in the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Kuje, Abaji, Bwari and Kwali, noting that their victories underscore the party’s deep connection with the people.

He also congratulated the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chairmanship candidate who won in Gwagwalada, describing the outcome as proof that democracy has prevailed and the will of the people respected.

The APC Chairman further congratulated the party’s four State House of Assembly candidates who secured victory in Kano and Rivers States, describing their success as a reflection of effective party organisation and public trust in APC leadership.

He commended party leaders, stakeholders and supporters across the three states for their discipline, dedication and commitment to peaceful participation in the democratic process, while also acknowledging the professionalism of security agencies and election officials.

“As we celebrate these victories, we must remain united, focused and committed to delivering good governance at all levels. The message from the people is clear: they want results, accountability and continued reforms in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda. The APC will not disappoint,” the statement concluded.

PoliticsTinubu Gave Us Good Governance, Minister, Projects - Abuja Indigenes by ryloy(op): 8:50pm On Feb 22
Tinubu gave us first minister in years, gave our youth massive opportunities, gave our villages projects and you say make we vote who give us outsiders as candidates?
Reason am.

https://x.com/Umarjumper/status/2025338515295277442

Bro visit Rubochi, in years we've never had a single electric pole there, but Tinubu came in and commissioned a solar project for us.
About 80% of houses now enjoy 20hours free electricity.
Funny enough the current chairman is PDP.
But he's been sent home with his candidate.

https://x.com/Umarjumper/status/2025515652350705871

This is just one of many ooo..
The road projects you see in the urban areas didn't stop there, even the rural areas enjoyed the benefits..
I didn't even talk about how much the youths have been involved too.
I'm telling you the presidency would be a bigger shock.

The coalition is fake. I did not resign from my Labour Party. We will stay in Labour Party and create a good structure with like-minded people rather than waste my time with a coalition of fake people. A whole party gave up their party candidates just to prove a point to Mr. Peter Obi and Obidients. No, This is not politics; it's madness. A coalition that cannot zone its ticket to the South to help heal the country and forge forward to confront APC and its rigging system. Saving a country cannot be done with unserious people. Don’t post fake results emanating from the APC situation room.

Nigerians asked for the electronic transmission of election results from polling units to be made mandatory. The Tinubu-led APC regime said no, citing insecurity in nine states, a national grid shutdown, and network issues. Yet here they are, setting up situation rooms with internet access to collate what exactly?

Obviously, to generate fake results and spread them around to create confusion.

El-Rufai lacks capacity to tap NSA Ribadu’s phone – Rotimi Amaechi

A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Rotimi Amaechi, says former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai does not have the capacity to tap the telephone of the National Security Adviser, NSA, Nuhu Ribadu.

Amaechi made this statement on Tuesday while responding to questions in an interview on Eagle.

DAILY POST reports that El-Rufai admitted he and others listened to the telephone conversations of the NSA after tapping his phone, an act that has drawn widespread criticism from various quarters, including the presidency.

Reacting during the interview, Amaechi said, “I doubt that El-Rufai said he hacked NSA Nuhu Ribadu’s phone. He doesn’t have the capacity to do so.

“It’s the NSA’s office that is listening to our calls. Ribadu is busy arresting everybody. He’s planning double elections.

“He’s planning for himself in 2031 and also for Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.

“All he’s doing is setting up parties to fight the ADC. He has his own fake ADC. Just go to court, he has so many ADC cases with small boys he has bought cars for.

“The man needs to rest. If he thinks there won’t be proper elections in 2027, he’s wasting his time. He should focus on his security job.”

I don't know what OP wants us to see here. It's an open secret that Elrufai supported his party's candidate in 2023 with gusto and made him President. They didn't have to be bossom friends for that to happen. Elrufai is a founding member of the APC. His signature is on the certificate of incorporation. Tinubu does not own the APC, even though he has now backstabbed all other blocs after winning, forcing them out and personalising the party. Southwesterners call it master strategy but other Nigerians have another name for that.
