Like I said before Rap has evolved beyond the nonsense you wrote. I don't play on local leagues, my market is here in the USA, Atlanta precisely. I'm friends with several rappers who can spit fire and battle with the best but I'm not foolish to call them the best ahead of Kendrick or even Drake. I'm tired of repeating myself, if you think you can call someone the best and yet they can't pull crowds, they can't sell albums or even go on major tours then you're a joker! Mentioning Sasha, Bouqui as rap legends is a slap on your intelligence, ask any 15 to 20 year old who Sasha is and they'll tell you who? 5 years from now ask the same age group who she is and they'll become confused. Same goes for vector and all the other rubbish you mentioned above. Talent without fame is bullsh*t and if you don't see that then argue with your keyboard my nigga!

They don't need 2 write or sit n think.. Combining hardcore rap with danceable tunes is d prob naija rappers av coz of Nigerians.. No one is interested in hardcore rap.. MI is a successful musician but he isn't d best rapper in naija.. he is not even close.. there is a long list ahead of him..

Do you think rapping nowadays is about battle or dissing? Do you think Kendrick cares about battle? Like I said evolve from your mentality of hardcore rap and embrace the new age. A rapper can diss and spit sh*t all he or she wants but if fans won't remember him or her 10, 20 years from now then what's the use? The reason we remember PAC, Biggie is not because of battling or dissing but the sheer amount of success they had. If you're not mainstream, you're garbage, it's sad but it's the truth!

Rap has gone beyond what you're describing, in fact you're describing a lyricists(Hardcore rap) more than mainstream rap(New Age). In any profession you are judged by the impact you make, this means sales, fan base and message. You mentioned drake is successful but not one of the best of the last decade. Can you name the top 3 rapper of the decade without them being successful? Kendrick, Kanye, Future and even Chance the Rapper? Success and fame determines who's the best, you can be spitting fire but if no one knows your a** you ain't sh*t!

Biggest or hardest lyrics does not make you the better rapper. Success is a better factor, how well do you resonate with fans? How many albums/songs have you sold? How many shows have you performed? There's a reason Eminem, Nas, Jigga, Pac, Biggie and even Dre & 50 are referred to as legends, there are far better rappers than them but these are the cream of the crop. Mode 9 is the best lyricists but a major failure in terms of success, M.I.'s success far outweighs all other Nigerian rappers combined except for maybe Olamide(technically not a rapper).
