Don't give up, specifically there is a discipline that got less candidates and I can authoritatively(don't ask me how) tell you that everyone who registered in that particular discipline, have already gotten the job.

The worst that can happen to a groom is to have a runaway bride. A situation where a bride refuses to go ahead with the wedding after spending so much on the traditional marriage and paying the ever increasing Nigerian bride price. Such was the tragedy that befell Mr. Pius Eku of Edet, in Akwa-Ibom State when his wife ran away from the Church as they were about being joined as man and wife

The bride (name withheld) decided not to go ahead with the Church wedding citing lies as an excuse, she decided to ditch him on the last minute because she looked into the programme and confirmed her fears that her husband to be isn't really a Mobil Staff as he claimed to be.

All efforts in pacifying her to return and complete the process of marriage proved futile as she was adamant on not continuing with the whole marriage show. Her family members have since issued a statement saying they are shocked by the whole situation, but apologized and promised to resolve the issue with the groom's family.

The groom was presently not available to answer questions and his cell phone has since been switched off. His best man though denied knowledge of such accusations saying that the groom to the best of his knowledge is a contract staff for Total and not Mobil.

Teachers Protest Over Unpaid Salaries in Bayelsa State
The streets of Bayelsa State got more than vehicles and pedestrians as secondary school teachers took over major roads to press home their demands before marching to the state secretariat in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital in south-south Nigeria.

They claimed that while other workers in the state have received half month payment three times, they have not received anything.

The teachers also rejected government’s proposition to give them half pay for the month of August on Thursday, insisting that the government must pay them as the other workers.

The Chairman of the Academic Staff Union of Secondary Schools (ASUSS) in Bayelsa State, Mr Oyiemi Ebiredeni, said that members of the union had been battling to survive, as a result of unpaid salaries.

The representative of the government, Commissioner of Education, Mr Markson Fefegha after addressing the protesters, told reporters that the executives of ASUSS and the state government had different understanding of the outcome of the closed door meeting they held some days ago.

Associated Press, yesterday released a statement credited to Boko Haram alleging that dozens of the 219 Abducted Chibok Girls have been killed in the ongoing coordinated air strikes against its members, this was contained in series of tweets sent out by Ahmad Salkida.

Recall that Ahmad Salkida was just recently declared wanted by the Nigerian Army for withholding statements concerning the whereabouts of the abducted school girls.

Ahmad Salkida, a journalist with links to Boko Haram, in a series of tweets yesterday on his Tweeter Handle @ContactSalkida, confirmed watching “horrifying” images of some of the Chibok girls allegedly killed by the Nigerian military airstrikes.

Salkida said the video was exclusively released to him by Abubakar Shekau, the ousted leader of militant group.

“I’m studying the video of the Chibok girls that was sent exclusively to me before their abductors upload on it You Tube later, @ BBOG_Nigeria,” he tweeted.

Salkida had earlier tweeted: ”Just in: Jama’atu Ahlil Sunnah Li-Da’awati Wal-Jihad #BH has released a video showing the abducted #Chibokgirls and restating their demands.

“This is the second time Shekau has ordered a video of the girls to be released to the public, since the abduction of the girls 852 days ago.”

“Many of the girls can be seen in the video, a Chibok Girl speaks in mother tongue and narrates how airstrikes has killed dozens of her mates.

Also BBOG, a non-governmental organization campaigning for the release of the school girls also alleged that a number of kidnapped Chibok girls may have been killed in an ongoing military airstrikes on Boko Haram positions in Sambisa forest.

School girls Aisha Alkali Wakil, has debunked the reported report and has reported that she has nothing to hide and the Nigeria Army has the location of her residence.

In her reaction on Monday, Aisha expressed her disappointed at the Army wondering why it declared them wanted when a simple private invitation would have sufficed.

She said: “I am Aisha Alkali Wakil. I understand that the military declared me, Ahmed Silkida and Ahmed Bolori wanted for having links with Boko Haram. It’s interesting, now they believe me?

“I know the Boko Haram boys. I have been in front fighting for peace long before Chibok girls were kidnapped. Nigerian security knows me too well, I’m not shady. Why declaring me wanted?

“I have had meetings with Chief of Army staff and his people. I told them the way forward, to allow me come with some commanders of Boko Haram and discuss with them the release of Chibok girls but they chose to do things their own ways only and never gave considerations to any of my suggestions.

“I want to inform the Nigerian people of my innocence and make them realise that I am in constant relation with the security personnel and they know where to find me but wonder why I had to be declared wanted on national news even mentioning my husband’s name alongside.

“This has put my immediate and extended family under a lot of pressure and I do not deserve this from the Nigerian government.

She said that she doesn't regrets all her efforts to bring lasting peace to the disturbance cause by Boko Haram. She however said that she will continue in her efforts in making sure that the abducted 276 Chibok girls return home peacefully irrespective of the damage this publication has caused her.
