The Last Rocket is the debut studio album by American rapper Takeoff. It was released on November 2, 2018, by Capitol Records, Motown and Quality Control Music. The Last Rocket was first announced through a private party in Los Angeles, California on October 23, 2018. The album's release makes Takeoff the second member of Migos to release a solo album, following Quavo's Quavo Huncho in October 2018.

Takeoff officially became the second member of Migos to release a solo record last night with The Last Rocket, which followed Quavo's October release Quavo Huncho. To celebrate the release of the record, Takeoff has dropped merchandise inspired by the album cover. The 7-piece collection has just launched via Migos' online store, and will be available for a limited time.

Just three weeks after Quavo's Quavo Huncho album, Takeoff delivers a solo effort of his own on Friday (Nov. 2). The highly anticipated The Last Rocket arrives free of features from the Migos cog and boasts 12 tracks in total.

The effort includes the previously released "Last Memory" and project standout "Infatuation." While no vocal assists appear on The Last Rocket, Takeoff does enlist a talented group to lay down the sonic foundation, with production from Quality Control's DJ Durel, Murda Beatz, TM88, Wheezy, Buddah Bless, Cassius Jay, and Nonstop Da Hitman.

As for the project itself, Takeoff's The Last Rocket features production from frequent collaborator DJ Durel, Cassius Jay, and more. Where guest appearances are concerned, Quavo and DAYYTONA FOX are the only two artists credited with features. At first glance, that may seem like a scarce list of guests, but The Last Rocket may have appearances that Takeoff decided to keep unlisted. On May 15, 2018, the band released a few seconds of their show in the form of a trailer to promote their tour in the fall of the year. On September 4, it was announced that the series would be released on YouTube, with the first episode coming out on September 28. A new episode was released every Friday from then until November 2 - to mark the release of the Post-Apocalypto album and the subsequent tour.

The entire series was screened at the LA Film Festival on September 24, 2018 and the Fantastic Fest on September 25, 2018.

The second episode was removed from YouTube shortly after being uploaded on October 5 for its sexual content. It was unblocked and had an age-restriction placed on it shortly after.

“I’m trying to un-polish, like ‘reset’ myself,” Moneybagg Yo told Billboard earlier this week. “I’m trying to take myself back to when I first came in. That’s what the fans miss and that’s how they accepted me, so I kind of want to go back and give them that.”

“This is facts…big facts,” Moneybagg Yo said in the Billboard interview. “It’s because the substance. I’m back on real situations, like you got to relate to it.”

MoneyBagg Yo's debut studio album is here. The young protege of Yo Gotti keeps one thing clear on Reset: his motive to start things fresh. As the title already suggests, MoneyBagg is looking for new footing in the hip-hop genre. Although this may be his first studio album, MoneyBagg has released an expansive list of mixtapes over the last six years. The Memphis, Tennesse rapper built his fan base from the ground up, nurturing a cult following that has propelled him to stardom.

MoneyBagg ignores the recent trend of shortened projects by delivering a 15 track effort. Reset features appearances from Future, Jeremih, YG, Kodak Black, Kevin Gates, J. Cole, and Rvssian. Cole steps onto the track "Say Na" with the presence of a trap king, gracing fans with a side of Jermaine that rarely creeps onto records. Reset is available now on Spotify, Tidal, and Apple Music.
