When is buhari going to declare the govt that jailed a democratically elected president illegal, considering the fact that Abacha rode on Abiola's stolen mandate? Anything short of this is nothing but a political jamboree.
If you refuse to learn from history(June 12) and correct it, history (June 12) will repeat itself again.

Any apology apart from declaring Abacha's military govt from 1993-1998 illegal/null and void with all presidential benefits confiscated and returned to the federation account, and Abiola's family compensated and paid all entitlements due to them via their late father as a former President, buhari is just deceiving himself.

I don't believe in court trials done under buhari's destructive govt. If this rudderless govt can buy and secure black market injunctions to persecute their perceived enemies, they can definitely influence court judgements to make cheap political points that they are fighting corruption.

The irony of June 12 democracy day by buhari is that the same man who is pretending to honor Abiola today served the very govt that jailed Abiola, a democratically elected president until he was murdered in 1998.

4 Declare Sani Abacha a thief for stealing Abiola's mandate.
5. Revoke all presidential benefits given to Abacha and his family.
