I just wanted to share my excitement and pride in Governor Hyacinth Alia's administration for its recent recruitment of over 9,000 teachers in Benue state (I was blessed to be selected). Benue state has had inadequate teachers for years.

Yesterday, June 16th, 2025, marked a new beginning as successful candidates received their appointment letters.

What stands out about this recruitment exercise is the transparency and credibility that defined the entire process. The CBT exams were conducted with utmost integrity, ensuring that only the most qualified candidates emerged victorious. No room for godfathers or connections; just pure meritocracy!

This is a breath of fresh air in our education sector, and I believe it will have a positive impact on our schools and students. Kudos to Governor Alia and his team for setting a new standard in public service recruitment!

Let's celebrate this milestone and look forward to more reforms that prioritize merit, transparency, and the welfare of our citizens.

Per his logic, if ministering to God and his people through music shouldn't be money driven (which I agree), how then can he explain how ministering to God's people through the word of God (not even his own o) should be?

This is how it folks sign contracts without reading the whole thing. NYSC has it's own code of conduct. If you can't serve, there's exemption. It's a non issue. I no be government mouth piece but we should acknowledge right and wrong without much debate.
