Good writeup. It is good to give our kids a better life than we had but we should be mindful in doing it. The british royals are trained from birth to live a modest life and their system see to it that public servants live a modest life. I know some wealthy Nigerian parents out there that actually teach their kids the virtue of hardwork.

Selling corn obviously isnt her main source of income. She also is apparently married so she might be able to save some money on that end, hubby providing for her.

She also didnt state the location of the house and how much it costs. It could have been at a very cheap and extreme location, which is not bad.

We need to know the full details

I love happy stories and i am proud of her for being able to overcome her challenges but lets be realistic.

If you make 10,000 naira in profit a month from selling corn ( slight exagerration). I dont see how can eat, pay rent and bills and still be able to build a house with such income. It will take years of extreme saving.

I disagree on cheap transportation. Taxi fares in Lagos is way more expensive in Lagos than Abuja. The cheapest taxi fare one pays in Lagos is #1500 while abuja is #300. Lagos taxis are rip offs
