how come nobody talks about university of Berkeley California or Michigan State University.

I know a Nigerian that was selected for the University of Berkeley California. She was selected for a masters degree.
This means they might have contacted the finalists.

I sat for IELTS Academic for UKVI on 30th March, 2017 at Hawthorne Suite, Abuja. But I am unable to check my result online and I am yet to get it through a courier. Has anyone receive his result?

I had been called up for a Skype interview. Not knowing what to really expect at the interview.

I am shortlisted for the Skype interview too. Which course did you apply for? Undergraduate or Postgraduate?

Edinburgh has contacted the shortlisted applicants since 7th March! And some applicants have got their rejection mails as well.

I was sent a mail with the advert. I guess they invited everyone who applied.

I don't think they contacted everyone that applied. The email that I received was sent to only 20 email addresses. And most of the names are not from my region.

I got invitation today from the FSB for the nomination interview . I have all the required documents (including a UK university admission), except my academic transcript. My university don't issue transcript to students, they can only send it to schools or employers.

but, you have to know you must get 200 score in your JAMB if yuo are in science department and 180 for art students. while post UME till after strike.

My reference to not being good with languages was not with respect to fluency in english or my mother tongue, but rather my failed attempts at learning another foreign language.

I have tried learning the other major languages in Nigeria along with a handful of foreign ones (e.g. french <solemnly remembers the french babe I missed out on cos of poor communication>, spanish, japanese), and outside of the casual greeting and descriptive words for the opposite sex, I have nothing else to show for it (despite all the investment in books, tapes, and software, )

That is why I have decided to campaing that the whole world adopt english as the official language, with pidgin english and my native dialect for informal discussions.
