You must be daft not to know that both parties ( the Governor and the RSHA ) members are the primary instigators of the problem in Rivers state . Earlier , PBAT intervened to enable both to work peacefully together ,yet peace was not attained . The president then became proactive to avoid things going out of hands and you are here capping nonsense . eldoradoxx: They should head straight to the Supreme Court to ask it to rule whether state of emergency involves suspending elected democratic organs of a State. America declares state of emergency every time during hurricane, fire or other natural disasters and no Governor or elected legislature is suspended. State of emergency only empowers the President to take extra measures to take care of any situation like sending in military to secure lives and properties in a situation of grave security concern. State of emergency does not involve suspending elected person by the President. Jonathan stopped that and Tinubu has resumed it. Its time for Supreme Court to tell us whether the constitution permits suspension of democracy at any time and under any circumstance. |

What I am concerned about is that she just "recalled" acase of sexual assault that happened far back Dec 2023 immediately she had a stand off with the Senate president. That means , Natasha will not have said anything about it if there was no issue with her change of seat or removal from post of committee chairman in the Senate . It is obvious that she is an evil person with a dangerous thought process . Shouting sexual harassment now is just for the camera.... cococandy: Thank you for saying this. That’s what people are beating around the bush about without actually saying it openly.
They know that most cases of sexual assault will happen without the victim being able to get evidence. Instead of them to say “well we understand how difficult and sad the situation is, let’s investigate and see what solution can be found”, they resort to the dismissive “where’s the evidence” rhetoric.
Knowing fully well that there was probably no chance the person was setting up a camera to record the assault before it happened. It’s giving gloating at the situation because they wanted an opportunity to minimize a potential case of assault.
As far as Natasha’s case, I don’t have a personal opinion on the accusation she laid whether she’s right or wrong. Because we’re supposed to be open minded and assume people are innocent until proven guilty right?
But I do have a heavy opinion on the reactions I’m seeing people have at her especially powerful people. And it’s very telling. |

Chai...wahala😁😁😁😁😁😁 Jakumo: The good people of Kogi State have FINALLY realized what a terrible mistake they made in electing as their representative a long-retired commercial sex worker with a foul mouth and hideous prune face, whose hobbies evidently included breeding free-range mongrel brats all sired by a generous cross-section of her HIV-infected clientele.
Now that the good folks of Kogi State have FINALLY come to their senses, the process of democratically clipping the wings of that deranged old layer chicken is straightforward and thankfully already in progress, praise be to Papa God. Old and expired layer chickens must never be recycled into political life again so that sanity can be restored after the recent theater of the absurd starring a hysterical and comically pompous overweight grandmother with the foul temperament of a cornered rattlesnake.
With the obese, verbose, and dim-witted old lunatic woman unceremoniously flushed down into the septic tank of history where she is long overdue, the good people of Kogi State can draw on the lessons this sorry shit-show offers them, as inspiration to phase in comprehensive and rigorous psychiatric evaluations to serve as mandatory rites of passage for all who seek to represent their interests in the federal capital. There must never be a recurrence of the ridiculous and comical buffoonery displayed by the nasty waddling old fart Mrs. Natrasha Abolonjeku. |

Politics › Re: Falana: Probing Natasha Akpoti’s IPU Attendance Will Embarrass Nigeria by sailor2011(m): 10:54am On Mar 17, 2025 |
It seems that you are paid to wash Natasha 's dirty linen ...But sensible people know that by bypassing Nigeria to the IPU and illegally taking the sit of an authorized official from the country screams treason quote author=Asonaijaaso post=134571353]The administration must act swiftly and decisively, allowing Senator Godswill Akpabio to face scrutiny for his role in this matter, especially as this issue won’t fade away with time. Every delay in addressing this will only serve to amplify Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan’s visibility and reputation. The more this is postponed, the more it becomes a symbol of injustice, and the more she gains public sympathy and support.
Regarding Akpoti-Uduaghan’s suspension, it’s important to differentiate between suspension and removal. A suspension by the Senate does not strip her of her mandate as a senator, as that is determined by the electorate, not the ethics committee. The committee itself, which is partisan and perhaps biased due to its composition (largely influenced by Akpabio), lacks the constitutional power to override the will of the people who voted for Natasha in Kogi Central.
The actions of the Ethics Committee, especially when it seems driven by partisan interests rather than fairness, should not supersede the authority of the electorate. The Senate President, Akpabio, must be made to walk the tightrope of accountability—he cannot escape this issue, and the longer this is avoided, the more it will backfire, casting the government in a negative light.
Lastly, Nigerians are not naive—they see through the manipulation of power by the elite, who often remain in leadership due to an entrenched gerontocracy. The world has evolved, and so should Nigeria’s political class. The time for transparency and integrity is now.[/quote] |

I am not a staunch supporter of the SP , but I believe nothing will come out of this Natasha uproar....las las , she will write an apology letter to the Senate and her suspension might be lifted or duration reduced . fergie001: 1. Don't let anybody deceive you.... Natasha never sued Akpabio on alleged sexual harassment. She sued Akpabio for statement made by his legislative aide for defamation. The aide had said Natasha dresses seductively, with transparent outfits and is all about pancakes. The only action she has taken against Akpabio is that petition before the NASS.
2. There is a Court order barring the ethics committee from taking any action against Natasha. The Court insisted that they shouldn't convene on that matter. The ethics committee has met against court order and without Natasha present. The Court is supposed to meet tomorrow on this, so the Senate should have put their position in Court and I believe the Court will quash that order. So they have done two wrong things: 1. They have taken action in disobedience to Court order. 2. They have denied the Senator fair hearing.
What I think will happen:.... - The Court will take a very decisive position. - The Senate will find a way to bring Natasha back after 2 weeks. - The Ethics Committee and Akpabio will bow to pressure, receive the petition and that's the last we will hear from it.
The pressure is on Akpabio and if he doesn't use his head, he will be disposable to Aso Rock. |

The SP is not going anywhere. At this point , the only sensible thing for Natasha to do is to apologize to the Senate while pursuing her sexual harassment claims in court . No need to be melodramatic here... malali: Recruit me? Lol. I can recruit and pay off Nigerian senators like it’s nothing. But you? You need to get your head checked—seriously.
If there was a button to report people with questionable sanity, you’d be the first one flagged. A lot of people would have reported you, trust me. Akpabio cannot escape the wrath of Nigerians.....His cup is full.

This is a pipe dream . The are house rules that Natasha should have acquated herself with before the arrogance she displayed . You people have refuse to acknowledge that fact that she violated procedures at the Senate and was duely punished for it . When senator ningi was suspended for 3 months last year , haven did not fall . So , Natasha should use the period of the suspension for sober reflection Ojuntana: The suspension is illegal and unconstitutional
It will be vacated by a competent court
What most demented zombies do not know is that it is they who will bear the cost of the litigation from both sides through the heavy taxes their Jagaban has laid on them
By the time the illegal suspension is vacated, the Court will award Senator Natasha damages to cover the cost of litigation against the Nigerian senate and order the senate to pay all salaries and allowances withheld |
