If finally make it at 2.39 today, expect a breakout tomorrow with strong volume which will push the price to 2.62.

Pick from the available offers now before tomorrow.

Just for those who will listen.
Last minutes buyers will clear all the offers onboard to pave way for a breakout tomorrow
Buy Japaul at your own risk! The company has no tangible contract presently, I don't know why Loco has been making calls on Japaul for the past 8months yet no appreciation!

I am having an issue with UCAP stockbroker. I sold some of my cabury and Total shares on the 5th and 10th of this month up until now they haven't credited my bank account as a Direct Cash Settlement customer. I have sent emails to them, but there is no positive result.
I have complained to CSCS, and I was told to lay the complaint through the broker, which I did, but no response yet.
What should I do next?
Report them to SEC..,if no response go there and meet them.

How does the tax work with dividends received for the year? If your cumulative dividend which will normally be paid directly to your account is over 10m will you be taxed?
Your dividends are payable to your bank account net of withholding tax of 10%, the narrations/descriptions on the inflow to your account will reveal it as dividend income,so no tax again because tax has been deducted before payment to your account.

I pray Aradel keeps going up and even enter N1k and higher. So Seplat and Aradel would be selling in N'000.
With that, other upstream oil companies can also easily join them in that league once they clean their books and start paying good dividends.
I did not mention any company, so don't come bash my team and our ''prophet'' ooo! grin grin

Quite interesting. So now Access likely pays 1 naira while Zenith pays 1.25 naira in interim.
Yet, Zenith is priced almost 2.5X of Access.
BTW, Zenith's profit is down 13.95% YoY compared to H1 2024, but is paying out 25% more.

Updated:
Zenith wrote down over 700Bn in impairment....I see.
. Zenith Bank is paying interim dividend from retained earnings.

TRIPPLEG 2024 BONUS ISSUE....Update

For those that qualified for the 2024 bonus issue and are wondering what's happening....
* I sent mail to GTL Registrars to provide update on it and I got the reply that SEC is yet to approve it, even till now. huh

** My observation:
* The said bonus already reflected in TrippleG's 2025 financials (i.e. the bonus is already added to their 2025 financials), already added on NGX page, and, the bonus is already reflecting in the substantial shareholder's holdings.
* I mentioned this in my mail but no explanation could be given by the registrar aside that SEC is still delaying the approval.

* @Street, you can see that SEC still have a lot to take care of and put in place, not just to be adding another unsustainable feat to their achievements.... tongue
Did you copy sec also with your mail?

Oga pls stop chest beating indirectly, this is a faceless forum and you don't know me In person. Where your wealth stop is where another person's wealth starts.
I just aired my opinion and I am free to do so. You can air yours without belittling mine.
And mind you none of us here can control or predict stock prices accurately in the long run
Cos, if you're so sure of yourself 100percent, then give a definite time frame for your 200/300 percent, otherwise your throwing around of these figures here and there amounts to just speculation.
You are very correct,no one can predict stock price accurately/100% . We are yet to see CI leasing at ngn25 naira as predicted by someone in this forum instead the stock keep going down ,as at now is trading below ngn7 .It is better at times to do your on research.

I was wondering too until I asked ChatGPT. Here's the response:

Yes, there's a strong reason behind why the price of a stock listed on the London Stock Exchange (LSE) — or any major international exchange — can influence or even determine the price of the same stock listed on a local market. Here's a clear breakdown of why this happens:

📌 1. Arbitrage Opportunities
Arbitrage is the practice of buying an asset in one market where it's cheaper and selling it in another where it's more expensive — risk-free profit.

So if a stock is listed on both:

Nigeria Exchange (NGX) at ₦100

London Stock Exchange (LSE) equivalent of ₦110

Then traders can:

Buy in Nigeria at ₦100

Sell in London at ₦110

Make ₦10 profit (minus fees)

This forces prices to align across both markets, because traders will keep exploiting the difference until the gap closes.

📌 2. Foreign Exchange Adjustments
Prices in different countries are converted using exchange rates. So even if the stock is ₦100 in Nigeria, and £1 = ₦1000, the equivalent price on LSE would be £0.10 — and vice versa. If the LSE price rises to £0.12, the Nigerian price may rise to ₦120 to match.

So the foreign price changes affect the local price after exchange rate adjustments.

📌 3. Liquidity and Market Influence
The London market often has greater liquidity, more trading volume, and more global investor participation.

This makes the London price a more "accurate" reflection of global investor sentiment.

Local markets often "follow" the global one because the price discovery (real value assessment) happens on the larger, more active exchange.

📌 4. Depositary Receipts / Cross-Listing Rules
In many cases, what’s listed on the foreign exchange is a Depositary Receipt (like GDR or ADR). These are representations of the local stock, and their prices are contractually tied to the price of the actual shares. So movements in one will directly impact the other.

📌 5. News and Time Zones
Sometimes, price changes in LSE happen first because:

Global markets open earlier or later than local ones.

International investors react faster to news or economic data.

The local market then adjusts once it opens or when the news reaches it.

Real-Life Example:
Seplat Energy is dual-listed on the Nigerian Exchange (NGX) and the LSE.

If Seplat’s share price increases by 5% on LSE due to news (e.g., oil price surge), it’s highly likely that NGX will reflect a similar increase the next trading day.

If not, arbitrageurs and informed traders will exploit the mispricing until prices converge.
Which app is more appropriate to trade on London exchange? Besides,is there any interface between ngx and London exchange? How is it possible to buy in ngx and sell in London?
