Antoeni: With The Hight Level of Corruption in Nigerian Military , Nigeria is Lucky Not to Be Surrounded By Great Powers Countries, Otherwise Nigeria Would Have Been Toast .
The paradox is that regardless of the corruption in Nigeria, had it been that we were surrounded by hostile neighbors, we would have significantly upgraded our military and would be able to match the firepower (aerial, land and naval) of the hostiles.
We have no external surrounding enemies, only internal ones and that's why we are this lax.
WriterrNg: I for post every single Epstein document here but the bots dey delete am as soon as i upload am.
Na why I ask Seun if he dey Israeli captivity.
My guy fit dey under heavy pressure and threats from the powers that be.
Them fit seize the site sef.
My Oga, site went dem don seize tey tey abi which one? There's no way "they" will allow a significant African forum as this to remain uncontrolled by "them".
My only wish is for Seun to make the Block Button more flexible. Because this three-week block option is not cutting it.
dreamxhaser: I think it is better someone HND go for BSC conversion or Top UP. Then come out with your BSC degree after 2 years.
Still yet, maybe some schools might give admission into 300 level, through DE (not sure of this though).
It's a valid pathway, and many universities now do a 1-year topup for HND graduates.
With the growing number of universities today, one has the comfort and convenience of getting admission now.
If you are a young learner, fresh from secondary school and you don't want to attend a brick-and-mortal university, enroll to an open university or just go the distance learning route.
Nigerian Polytechnics can no longer meet their objectives. So just save yourself the potential headache of decades of discrimination and go to a university, get your degree and learn in peace.
Emeskhalifa: But why is it like that? Is that there is a law that stops other hospitals from having snake antidote in their facilities? Cox this won't be the news of this occurrence and it is annoying at same time scary. Could be anyone next time
Her death is quite painful. Thoughts and condolences.
No law is stopping them. It's just that anti-venoms are expensive, need proper storage, and the snake has to be accurately identified by the victim for it to be effective.
Nigeria has no effective emergency response, and bear it in mind that some snake venom kills as little as under an hour.
OkpaNsukkaisBae: E come be like 47 dey fear to give the final order to attack. Na d same POTUS wey been dey bomb civilian fishing boats in Venezuelan waters, dey seize oil tanker in international sea lane. I was expecting them to shoot down that Iranian drones shadowing Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier. International water=international airspace.
He dey fear gaan. He only knows how to kill innocent fishermen and sabotage countries under their sphere.
Once they're confronted with any strong power that can fight back, he becomes confused. I also pray it's a measure for measure attack.
WriterrNg: ⚡Israel told the U.S. it could absorb even a worst-case Iranian barrage (~700 ballistic missiles) if it led to regime collapse in Tehran.
Israeli leaders argue the cost would be worth it given Israel’s air and missile defenses proven in the 2025 war.
In essence, they don't mind sacrificing 1/4th of Israel's population and half of their assets in order to conquer Iran. Wicked sons of Satan.
Any small headache and they'll all run and take the next available flight to Europe or the US while leaving the thieving b@star#s from Poland (that call themselves settlers)to take all the hit.
If care is not taken, they'll all receive that 700+ missiles and no change will they ever see in Iran.
Stephen0mozzy: World War is not so far away sha. America's turn to be the new Germany.
While some of the organizations are just clubs of barking dogs with no teeth and waste of public funds for bankrolling the organization's executives, membership actually has a way of providing "brotherhood of check and balance" for the ones that are effective.
I share your sentiments too bro, I don't think is far at all. It's just to amusing to see them decoupling their influence and the current world order brick by brick.
Like most huge empires that preceded them, the American empire will implode from within. Most of the signs are already there.
The final nail to the coffin is when total de-dollarization happens on a global scale.
pook: The stress you passed through can't be half of what I went through while doing UI Masters. I even lost my job while at it because at UI, they won't allow you work doing their Academic Masters. Did I say Academic Masters? UI treat all their programmes like Undergraduate.
This is sad. You ought to have ditched them for another less stressful uni. You shouldn't have allowed it to take precedence of over job now.
Nigerian Universities unnecessarily make life hard for students. They need to do a way with that backward mentality of suffering before you get it. It doesn't make the certificate any more prestigious.
hrm93: I’ve just completed my first semester in the MBA program at the Ahmadu Bello University Distance Learning (ABUDLC), and here’s an honest review for anyone considering the program.
Onboarding & Welcome Experience The program started fairly, but students were expected to figure out key things (like WhatsApp groups and tutor access) by checking forums on the learning management system. This information should have been clearly communicated in a welcome email. Score: 5/10
Lecturers & Teaching The lecturers in the first semester (they tried sha but my 2nd semester proved it was a set u) were generally fair and reasonably active. Engagement was frequent enough, and the teaching quality was decent overall. Score: 6/10
Examinations (First Semester) I wrote my exams on the Lagos mainland at JKK Building, Anthony. Day 1 was very disorganized, although things improved on Day 2. However, when you factor in the emotional and mental stress (especially for working professionals) the experience was far from ideal. Institutions of this caliber should be proactive, not reactive, particularly when they claim to be shaping Africa’s future business leaders. Score: 4/10
Examinations (Second Semester – Current Situation) As I prepare for second-semester exams, I received an email just two days before the papers informing us that the Lagos center has been moved from Anthony to Abule Egba. For working students, this last-minute change is extremely disruptive. Score: 1/10
Grading System Some lecturers still operate with the “5/5 is for God” mentality, even in 2025, in an era where AI and modern learning tools are redefining education. This approach feels outdated and discouraging. Score: 6/10
Final Thoughts If you’re considering this program and have a high tolerance for stress and surprise changes, then this might work for you. At times, it honestly feels like a toxic relationship, you praise them twice for enabling remote learning, then spend eight times dealing with avoidable frustration just to enjoy that privilege.
Won’t recommend to anyone I love.
Something about this poster looks familiar to me!
That aside, their MBA program and other distance learning program is quite good, especially when the immediate past director was in-charge.
Now with this current director, many wonderful things have been reversed. It's painful. If the current tide is not stemmed, they'll go back to being average when it comes to Distance Learning
Now comparing their program to other Universities, especially first gens, they are far ahead. They and NOUN pioneered postgraduate Distance Learning. However compared to NOUN, it doesn't come cheap. But cheaper than other like Uniport, UNILAG etc.
So if you truly want to work, progress and study, Nigeria now has many institutions offering DLC. So prospective students can either explore them or look for other universities that offer DLC programs.
Here is a list, but please, DLC/E-learning program is NOT limited to this list. Also note that although other programs both undergraduate and postgraduate are offered in the Distance Learning mode, this list is more aligned to MBA and similar professional masters program.
-Federal ABU Uniport UNILAG NOUN UNN Unizik Etc
-State Tasued Lasu Etc.
-Private Nile University Covenant JABU Iconic Open University Etc. Miva
discusant: Wike has no electoral value in Rivers State.
Falsifying election results is the only value Wike has, and for which President Tinubu is still keeping Wike as minister until Wike falsifies the 2027 presidential election results in Rivers State and Abuja on behalf of Tinubu
And are we not saying almost the same thing? I stated it earlier that he cannot be fired at least not until when Tinubu wins again. This is because the president has no answer to the loss of Rivers vote. The only thing that can salvage it is to have Kwankwaso on his side
I also stated that Wike has a deep machinery, a deep rigging machinery and should the president choose to renege on the agreement, he'll ensure Rivers is rigged against him.
Finquas: Wike has now officially buried himself .. he will soon be fired as FCT minister .. clock it
There's nothing to clock because Tinubu CANNOT fire Wike, at least not when he has not secured his second term and more importantly not when he does not have Kwankwaso in his camp yet.
If you know you might not be able to accept an overbearing godfather and the terms surrounding their aid to you, do not accept their offer.
It seems you don't know how deep Wike's machinery is in Rivers? Person wey like fight pass quarrel? Should Tinubu renege on the agreement they signed, he'll know how spiteful an Ikwerre man is.
It was wrong of you to accuse others as lacking in tactical thinking.
Many here are seasoned analysts by profession or by pure self-research/enthusiasm. Plus the pieces of info and perspectives shared here mirrors that of regional and international think-tank
So I feel an extra dose of social etiquette and humility will do much good going forward, don't you think so too?
she could be assassinated sh*t can go sideways fast if they don't, the axis still maintains its presence if they do, the axis increases its presence because warring factions will need the axis to take on their rivals
bottom line is the axis has spent decades cultivating relationships with power brokers who will make any unilateral hegemonic sole administration of venezuela impossible
to moi, much of this chaos is because of xi pacifism did i not say even before maduro kidnap that xi should send his navy ignorant folks were ranting now putin is sending his because xi head dey touch xi is making things more difficult than they should be even this deployment should have been a multi-country armada russia and china primarily. kim can spare a destroyer. when the war in the levant ends, iran will send a frigate obtain supplies from brazil and south africa and rotate the mission is to dare the hegemony to attack the fleet and start ww3 because of venezuela
-Lord
Very well said @LordAdam16. Thanks for the deep exposition. We only hope emperor Xi wakes up and do it faster. Only if the alternative payment system can become a reality by the tail end of this decade.
LordAdam16: apparently a judge in charge of satanyahu's corruption trial died in a car crash days ago
beacon of democracy!
-Lord
Definitely expected, his term is already drawing to a close. If those sons of satan can off their own PM for being weak and sympathetic, a judge can easily be iced.
I have been having this feeling that Maduro would walk scott-free in no distant time (though might not return as a president). Do you think it's possible, and also what is your take concerning Venezuela's immediate future without Nicolás Maduro?
Hallams: I can't wait to see the end of this dramas abeg! They should just conduct the election already. The band though, na dem dey crack me up pass for the video
I dey tell you. Aside being a seasonal politician, the minister has a flair for dancing
shalaye upon shalaye has to win an award for the most lamba per minute
-Lord
Yes o. The clown still thinks this is 2003 where you could spin narratives at will. Is it the oil or the drugs?
Anyways, we know their focus now is Iran, as any SMO in South America would not happen again. Any further attempt towards that now would result into American servicemen and their flying scraps being blown to smithereens all over Caracas.
It's either the megalomanics retrace their strps or it's a full-blown war all the way. Their choice is obvious.
dvkot: All the adjective you used describes every world power from Russia to US to China...none is a saint. Russia is fighting a war that has killed several thousands of it soldiers and several thousands of Ukraine soldiers too... Japan didn't do half before US bring it to it senses. The point is when you escalate MASSIVELY your opponent will surrender but if you try to protect an image and want to make people see you as a better person ( like what Russia is doing) then you will cause more harm than good. Donald Trump would have nuked mexico since if a single missile landed In Washington. The world already sees Russia as a bad guy, so why not already do it anyways
I agree with most of your points, but Donald Trump CANNOT nuke Mexico for obvious reasons.
There's a gulf of difference between attacking Japan that is over 10,000km to the US and Mexico that they literally play inter-border volleyball game with. The last things they want to deal right now is the radioactive consequences of such decision coupled with the massive influx of people to the North.
larryUG: Shebi Xi and Putin are still more powerful than trump abi?Putin had wanted to take Ukrainian leader since 2022, it took trump just minutes to remove Maduro and take him to the US. Make XI try and with any other leader in the world anywhere. Even Somalia, make e go remove the leader and take him out of the country to stand Trial in China
He's right, and the yesterday operation made his point hit home even harder. Putin took the path of patience and strategy and it paid off. He has secured prime territories, liberated ethnic Russians and have also increased his country's economic resilience.
The move US made yesterday was like that of an impatient bully and it'll definitely backfire. The last place the US wants to fight a prolonged war is in her backyard.
Now that Maduro has been kidnapped (yes, that's what it is) what exactly has shifted in Venezuela to US's favour. The highest they can do is to imprison the ex-president and nothing changes. If they are what you painted them out to be, let them repeat the operation and try to remove the interim president, since she's not their stooge.
She has taken charge and her first broadcast was to reassure her citizens that they'll rather die resisting than for then to be conquered. Except the US wants to start receiving body bags by their numbers, no thieving US company will be operating in Venezuela in the nearest future.
Time has and will once again prove the importance of patience and strategy.
goslowgoslow: Mr man I live here in the US and I know everything about Maduro. If you talk about how he maltreated his people and some other crimes I agree with you but not drugs. Maduro is not the main culprit for the flow of drugs into the US. China and Mexico are real problem.
My oga, we are both saying the same thing. I am also against the kidnapping of Maduro.
I was only pointing out the useless and hateful character of the guy that quoted you.
He used to be reasonable, but now he's full of hate for others not belonging to the same tribe and religion like him. That was what I was pointing out.
Floky215: Those involved in the clean up are also mossad agents...
You underestimate how deep mossad have taken over Iran...
And you also think Israel isn't swarming with Iranian spies? As a matter of fact some Isrealis will gladly pass vital info to Tehran, anything to depose Satanyahu. Was it not few months ago that pictures of the interior of Dimona was released to the public? Missiles are on high alert in Iran now and they all have their targets in Tel-Aviv.
Like it or not, a thorough house cleaning is being done. Now with the botched regime change in Venezuela and the aggressive posture of the axis, Trump and co have a very long 2026 ahead of them. Hegseth might not have any further role in a post-Trump America, but Vance and Rubio's career is definitely on the lifeline now.
goslowgoslow: I don't really understand is this particular case about terrorism? Venezuelans are not even Muslims they are predominantly Christians. Children just full this forum.
My Oga, it's like you don't know that guy. He used to be sensible years ago. But he's currently full of rubbish and the hate for Islam is driving him to near-madness.
Just imagine, if not stupidity, what concerns Islam with the Venezuela-America conflict?
