Christianity Etc › Re: Defend Catholic Teachings Here by SalC: 9:05am On Dec 11, 2013
JMAN05: I Edited it sir. the full write-up is here.

Evidence is against this statement. Just honestly and critically examine whether what you do is really worship. Your conscience wont agree even if you refuse to aver the obvious. Something in you will disagree even if you openly ignore the truth. This I am sure of. If it gives you a messgae, dont ignore it, cos it makes no sense to be a christian and loose eternity.
If only people realize it is the worshiper who can tell the state of his mind and whom he worship, they will stop forcing others to accept what they are not doing.

It will be silly for me not to accept that I worship a particular deity if truly I worship it.

Christ is well aware of this when he said "if you deny me in public, I will deny you before my father in heaven"

Why do people refuse to deny Christ even at the pain of death?
simply because that denial alone will do away with every worship they have rendered onto him.

I even find it difficult to understand why catholic answer those who say we "worship" Mary .

If I tell you I don't "worship" Mary and you insist, that's your headache not mine.

If I "worship" her and take her to be my God, I will proudly admit that.

POPE II: can you please elaborate?
Simply put, since God is omnipotent, he is capable of doing anything at which ever point he chooses. I spoke in riddles but hope you will understand.

POPE II: What's the Anglican rite? , shouldn't former Anglican priests be forced to divorce(contradiction I know) before joining the Catholic church?

I know Christian unity is Part of God's goal for us , however I think it wrong to accept married people and allow them to become priest. I'm always happy to see people embracing Catholicism but this time ehn I feel so so
This is not an issue to be handled carelessly.

You cannot warm your hand by burning your fingers.

The church cannot in a bid to uphold celibacy; encourage divorce.

The ordinarate of the chair of st peter which is created for the present Anglo-catholics (i assume thats what you are refering to) permits the present married anglo-catholic priests to stay married, what am not sure of is whether or not it gives room for subsequent priest to get married.

Now STFU!
I see no crime in the question he asked, but before one can adequately address this issue, you must know the root word used in the greek or hebrew manuscript.

I have addressed this issue not once on this forum, perhaps I will still find time and do so again.

Rich4god: Since Nobody could answer my question, let me just drop the answer... These Cardinals are the G8 Cardinals chosen by the Pope as his advisory panel on church governance. From their appointment, they are always in series of meeting with the Pope with regards to some changes about taking place on Vatican governance.

The Group of eight are from top, left to right: Italian Cardinal Giuseppe Bertello, Chilean Cardinal Francisco Javier Errazuriz Ossa, Indian Cardinal Oswald Gracias, German Cardinal Reinhard Marx, Congolese Cardinal Laurent Monsengwo Pasinya, U.S. Cardinal Sean P. O'Malley, Australian Cardin al George Pell and Honduran Cardinal Oscar Rodriguez Maradiaga.
Thanks my son.
I Had An argument with a guy sometym ago.
We were discussing about the sins of Adam n Eve.
I told him that we all are sinners.
He said he had examined his Life, since his birth according to him he said he has not committed a single sin right from the moment he was conceived.
Because The death of Christ took away his transgression and he is above sin.
.
Hello Mr Aladin, I wanted to say something about this post last night but I was a bit tired then.
Let me chip in something here. I find something quite contradictory about the part I quoted.

How can a person say he examined his life from childhood and couldn't find any sin yet right after that he said Christ paid for his sins.

If he truly had no sin, why would Chris need to pay for his sins?
1john 1v8 if we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.
Apostle john who wrote the above knew very well that Christ died for the sake of our sin, yet he clearly made us understand we are sinners. If you read through that whole chapter, you will realize we need to confess those sins in order to be forgiven.

We cannot live a laissez-faire life because Christ died for our sins instead we have to live according to his ordinances. This still did not in any way mean we are immune to sin rather the spirit of God in us gives us the grace not to live in sin.

We don't live in sin but we occasionally fall into sin, therefore when we realize we have fallen not deliberately into sin, we go to God in prayers, and when we do, the blood of Christ which speaks for mercy on our behalf will still sanitize us and make us holy again.

And Christ Loves a humble sinner who always admits his wrong deeds Even better, dats why Christ gave us the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
