PoliticsRe: Tinubu : Tribute to A Great Man: Ajimobi by Salewa95: 11:25pm On Jun 25, 2020
Kaylet:
One thing I love most about him was the security issues he tackled in Ibadan town..
Other areas were the Technical University, Roads and Hoodlum
I attended Ibadan Grammar School during my sec school days, I know how hot Molete was everytime with the issue of thugs and fightings. My parents are always scared then.

What about Iwo road fights and issue, we have the thugs ruling Oyo like it was their colony.

When Ajimobi came, he launched Operation Burst and he was able to solve the issue of insecurity in Oyo state and Ibadan in particular. Thuggery and NURTW wahala decreased during his period and Ibadan was peaceful to a larger extent.

hollah123:
so he's better than Ladoja?
u are a joke
What was Ladoja contribution to Oyo state besides paying salaries for you to compare him with Ajimobi regime?

Although to be fair to Ladoja, his government was under pressure from Baba Adedibu from series of plot and impeachments to the other that disturbed his government.

I repeat, No governor since 1999 in the history of Oyo state outperformed Ajimobi in terms of governance if you compare them.

CallMeGrace:
Best governor kwai?
Seems you don't know what you are saying oga.
Do you know so many hardship he put people through in Oyo state? Better don't let Oyo people come for you! I want to believe you are not oyo/ibadan base Sha.
What hardship did he put Oyo people?

I’m from Ibadan and I know the politics of Oyo right from Lam Adesina, Ladoja, Akala, and Ajimobi.

I know Oyo during the politics of Baba Adedibu and what Ibadan went through in the hands of those fellas.

Where are you from? And what moral authority do you have to deny my assertions. What fact do you have?
PoliticsRe: Tinubu : Tribute to A Great Man: Ajimobi by Salewa95: 9:33pm On Jun 25, 2020
Ajimobi was the best governor Oyo state ever had and he broke the jinx of Oyo o kin sin eyan leemeji.

I wish you RIP from the bottommost part of my heart and I hope God grant your family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.

God gives and God takes!

PoliticsRe: Jim Nwobodo: It Is The Right Of The Igbo To Produce The President by Salewa95: 10:12pm On Jun 23, 2020
He said he is back to PDP which is his natural habitat. Hence he want Nigerians to hand over the presidency to the Igbos on a platter of gold.

What about the people that already labored in APC to get it to where it currently is?
PoliticsRe: With A Friend Like Wike, Obaseki Meets His Pdp’s Waterloo; Almost -Thisday Paper by Salewa95:
Politicians are very wise.

Obaseki screamed godfatherism in APC as a decoy to curry favor from the unsuspecting public. APC went ahead with primary election where the people themselves elect their candidate.

He went to PDP where they want us to believe there is no godfatherism. First, he shared 6billion for the crooks in PDP, he wanted to maneuver his way to be the sole candidate so that other candidates can step down for him. Is that not Godfatherism?

Think about it!

Ogonimilitant:
Criminal Governors are have sold their life to Fulani
for VP 2023. IPOB is planning serious forest cleansing in Igboland soon.
IPOB are toothless bulldogs. All talk and no action.

What is stopping them from doing forest cleansing all these years?

The Igbo governors are also cowards. Ohaneze said the other time that they wanted to create Operation Lion hunt.

Seems everyone is just confused over there.

TravelRe: Beautiful Pictures Of Abeokuta, Ogun State That Will Make You Love The City by Salewa95: 7:50pm On Jun 21, 2020
rdokoye:
Judge me on my words and not the words of others.

Igbo states have tons of Yoruba people in them. In Anambra and Imo state, you'll find several Yoruba people in office.

Nope, just stating a fact. Oyo needs serious redevelopment. Ogun is not so bad, though I still have an issue with the lack of political will to slum clearance. What are they afraid of, not getting votes?
LOL!

Enugu need serious development instead. It used to be the capital of Eastern Region and it is an eyesore. No industrial capacity, no bearing whatsoever, no development, and it is a shame that it was listed as top poverty capital of the South in the NBS lasr report.

Tell your people to stop running away from their land like refugees to Yorubaland and causing a pressure on our resources. Instead of advisong a prosperous Oyo state, try to advise the poverty capital called Enugu first.

Don't leave your house to burn while you put out the fire in another man's land!

rdokoye:
As long as I remain a Nigerian, Yorubaland is my land. I have as much right to be here as anyone else. I frequent all Nigerian city threads, irrespective of their location.

No stop derailing the thread.
LOL. Yorubaland is not your land, not your ancestor's land and will not be your coming generation land.

The land, seas, and glory of the Yorubland ONLY belong to the descendants of Oduduwa.

You are starting to make me laugh and this is gradually turning to a comedy session.
TravelRe: Beautiful Pictures Of Abeokuta, Ogun State That Will Make You Love The City by Salewa95: 7:36pm On Jun 21, 2020
rdokoye:
I never derailed the thread, in fact, I tried to help the thread, by showing video footage of the state. Some good videos at that. So let's stick with Abeokuta. As I said before, Ogun is better than Oyo State.

Forget about Enugu. Igbo people are not interested in Yorubaland - trust me on that.
Shameless liar. One thing about you Igbos is that you don't play by the rule and lying is seen as a way of life to you.

When did an Igbo start helping a Yoruba on their own thread? Can you listen to yourself?

Whether Ogun is better than Osun or Ondo is none of your concern. They are all Yoruba states and we win and lose together.

However, Oyo state cannot be compared to Enugu is all indices. Is it about Industries, Road structure, Housing estates, Higher Institutions, Poverty metrics, IGR, GDP, and etc.

How exactly is Enugu better than Oyo state?
TravelRe: Beautiful Pictures Of Abeokuta, Ogun State That Will Make You Love The City by Salewa95: 7:28pm On Jun 21, 2020
rdokoye:
I'm not a "tribalist" like you people. Fortunately for me, I was born in England, so I wasn't imparted with any of the backwardness the average Nigerian was. I showed drone video footage of abeokuta, created by natives (Yoruba) of the land. It's a common tourist destination in Nigeria. So you don't need to show oscure pictures of the place.

That other guy, is the one who started derailing the threat, by showing Google earth pictures, of poor communities in Enugu State - what does that have to do with the beauty of Abeokuta?
Shut up and stop displaying your inferiority complex. Who cares if you are born in England? Is than an achievement?

We created a thread of our own cities and you come on here to derail the thread with toursit center. I went to show you the pictures of Enugu city that is over 60% brownroof while you turn back crying that you are not a tribalist.

You are shameless and a great hypocrite. Did they use rope to drag you to this thread in the first place?

Mind you Enugu is listed as one of the poverty capital of theSouth after Ebonyi. Poor braggarts people with inferiority complex.

To the mod that banned me, good job. You see these guys derailing the thread and when I countered them you banned my moniker and removed some of the pics while you leave them alone. Continue!
