The next day,
my mum and dad ask me to go and cut my hair which was so full to the extent that if a bucket of water is been poured on,it won't get to the scalp.
so i went to the salon for my hair to be cut,which was done by mr joe a.k.a master as fondly called "which was judith cousin".so after been through with my hair,he jokingly called my name while smiling and said to me.
joe:quadri it seems as if my cousin like u.
salore:which cousin.
joe:u no no
salore:bros i no understand u
joe:i mean judith,the girl wey come yesterday.
that was when i know her name.then he continues.
joe:yesterday wey we reach house,she come tell me say im like u say u get good height,character and all that.
seriously i was shock cos that will be the first time in my whole life i would have such compliment from an opposite sex.i was so dumpfounded that i couldn't remember what happen next.
i later went inside,lie on our couch and was pondering on the event that happen the day before which was how nature came and took it course.
am kind of been too shy when it comes to been in the midst of an opposite sex not to talk of looking into the eyes of such a damsel creature to the extent that whenever she is around i wouldn't come out of the house until i comfirm she is gone,and later be told by her cousin that she came and ask after me,while i will lie to him that have not been around for a while which i always feel guilty of.
one sunday evening around 8:30pm i was already in the salon watching the football match against italy and france which was meant to be 2006 world cup final where matterazi was given the nodding of his life by zidane.
the match was very crucial that i did not know when she came in,pass behind me and sat at the extreme end of the salon while she joined us but not until zidane missed a chance which got the people around shouting"eh zidane na dead",see chance wey him miss".then someone altered a word saying "zidane na mumu if na me i go score am"immediately i looked back to see the person that altered that word but to my surprise,it was an old man who came to cut his hair,then i put up a smile and continue watching the game.
later on a thought came to my mind to look back that someone else may be looking at me which i deliberately did and found her gazzing at me,people are much in the salon that u hardly take a step forward.at this point i almost have an high bp feeling very uncomfortable waiting for the football match to end so that i can just dissapear like a speed of light all because i was too shy.
it was about 10:30pm,italy were crowned the winner of the tournament with people rejoicing till they all left their seperate ways,while i stay back,sweep and arranged the salon with mr joe,which i always do before she came from kaduna.after all this were done i escorted them to the bustop while discussing the football match with joe without talking to her.

It was some minute after 8 in the night,while i was busy washing my cloth at the backyard i heard some foot step coming towards my direction without wanting to know who the person is but not until i heard the soft voice of a lady seeking for an assistance,i quickly brought my head up and behold it was her(judith),i almost fainted that my legs were shivering without her noticing cos every where was dark,and the conversation goes this way.

both joe and judith were speaking their dialect while i went closer to greet them but not until she put up an angelic smile that can melt a steel which make me go dumpfounded looking at her as if have found heavens gate.As time went by,my football pals got exhausted and have to go their seperate ways while i go get some water to take my bath and eat my already prepared breakfast which was around 12pm. Later that day my mum who was about going out to get somethings for the family called on me to help her stay at the shop which was next to joe salon(who is said to be judith cousin),which left me with no other option than to adhere to her instructions. As i was busy helping my mum she came out from her cousins barbing salon and sat at a bench which was meant for customers who are waiting for their service to be rendered and was adjacent to were i sat but all of a sudden i noticed her gazzing at me whenever i looked towards another direction but when i turned towards her direction she will quickly throw her heads of,this continues to the extent that she couldn't help but to stare at me.i was somehow embarrased wondering what would have caused her to stair at me that way i couldn't withstand it anymore that i have to call out my younger sister to take my place while i went in.later on a thought came to my mind that i have to wash my dirty cloth cos i have non left to wear for the next day but for me to wash it that evening wasn't possible cos i don't want her to have a glimps at me,while i schedule to wash it in the night thinking she might have gone by then not knowing that she will be around until her cousin(joe)close for the day.

as all this was going on,the owner of the barbing salon whose name is joe came with a very gorgeous and astonishing lady whose name is judith aka"look and tell"which i later learnt was his cousin who came for a short visit in lagos from kaduna.

i was a very good player that i hardly play football with my mate except with people who are far older than me which always caught the attention of people who gather around us to watch me play with great skills,with so much amusement on their face.

it was on saturday morning around 9:00am"a very rainy day it is" where me and my friends where playing football in front of my compound which is said to be a storey building which has one of the renowed barbing salon and chemist in my area.

The story has just began: The year 2006 will definetely be the year i will never forget.it all started on august 17 2006 which was after when i finished my junior waec exam and was 13 years old back then.
