Education › NOUN: Enquiry About Msc Agriculture Programme Availability by Salubata(op): 6:42pm On Aug 04, 2025 |
Hello Nairalanders, please I need clarification.
I’m trying to apply for the MSc in Agriculture (Crop Science) at the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN). I’ve already made the application payment, but while filling the form, I discovered that no Master’s degree programmes are showing under the Faculty of Agriculture.
Each time I select the department, it says: “There are no programmes in the selected category (Master Degree) in this department. Check other departments, possibly in other faculties.”
I’ve checked other faculties, and their postgraduate programmes are visible.
Is it that the Faculty of Agriculture is not accepting applications at the moment? Is it that NOUN doesn't offer MSc in Agriculture even when it's listed on its accredited courses? Could this be a system error? Has anyone experienced this? How can I get my application fee refunded if there's no way out?
Please, I’ll appreciate any helpful information

Thanks a bunch. I've been able to login and begin the application. Unfortunately I couldn't pick any department in Agriculture Faculty, (literally no MSc in Agriculture) because it's showing “There are no programmes in the selected category (Master Degree) in this department. Check other departments, possibly in other faculties.” Is there truly no MSc Agriculture in NOUN? Enskynelson: I am 100 percent cent sure it's the website. Unless you have a bad network. The site is currently going

Alright, thanks. I'm doubting its authenticity because I've been trying since yesterday. Enskynelson: Yes, that is the application link for all NOUN programmes. The student's results for the semester was just released about the same time you are trying. The traffic is so high on the portal right now. Give it like tomorrow and try again. |

Thank you Godwin4444: Bro once bitten twice shy
We are still battling d Igbo aggression of Lagos is no man's land then Betty akeredolu brought hell n now this
That man can never win n it's impossible, Betty akeredolu messed up every Igbo woman chance in Yoruba land
Imagine appointing an Igbo lady as special adviser to governor when their are thousands of Yoruba ladies?
Imagine filling Igbos with positions n nobody dare say anything?
Imagine using ondo money to go n tar roads in imo state?
Imagine insulting a Yoruba man on twitter n saying " Foolish people that ate with God" only because Baba adeboye made a joke about eating with God?
There's a pending court case in ondo now, a Yoruba contractor was given a job n he has finished the first phase, he was to b mobilised for the 2nd phase only for him to realise the job have been given to an Igbo man. The case is still in court till now
This woman messed up everywhere despite akeredolu trying to cover up but her excesses were too much n she has no respect for her husband people, so I don't blame anyone who rejects this guy
Once bitten twice shy
If PDP should make this mistake then APC will just present Adelabu n win steady |

Lies. Your anger is that Reno is pain in the assss of Bitter Obi mrvitalis: Son of a former supreme Court Judge, educated and trained in America yet offers himself to politicans for few thousand dollars?
Is that not shameful?
Even Tinubu himself knows Reno is propelled by selfish ambition... Trust me this us the highest Reno can ever atten

Yu didn't mention Alex Otti Dogalmighty17: Every thing they say about short people is true. Because of thier height, they are far from God and close to the devil. Their hearts are turned back and made of stone. Short people lack empathy of any sort. Stubborn, heartless, ruthless and possess no human feeling at all.
They have natural psychopathic tendencies. Does the name Adams Oshiomole, Nasir el-rufai and nuhu ribadu ring a bell? You saw what they did when in power.
Do not be unfortunate to date or marry a short woman. You will surely regret it. In my next life, when it is time to reincarnate and I find out that their will still be short people in this world, I'll choose to stay dead. |
