bigl:They claim to be in Jos. You are saying you run your personal hosting company, or you run it as a business? My domains are working perfectly. Thanks for offering a test. What are your services rate like? and how is the performance, downtime and all? |
Billyonaire:i would strongly suggest you just stay where you are. There is no softlanding at Smartweb Nigeria. They are really ranking so high on poorest performance so far. I am looking for where i can move all my hosted websites too gradually. |
I have over 20 services hosted with Smartweb, initially, they started well, but presently... they keep changing policy and they have grown thick skin in responding to clients. My experience is getting worse by day. If you are not on a dedicated server, they treat you like shit. They'll ask you to upgrade to dedicated server if you want better services. the idiots proud themselves as the best customer service company in Nigeria. How i wish they understand the meaning of best customer services. Their latest attitude is now merging tickets that are for different things into one. And their administrators that hardly have certificates speak stupid english, and very poor response to the tickets, automatically wasting your time. Their response rate to ticket is 3/100, meanwhile after getting the response, they only answer to questions that are not being asked, automatically wasting 96% of your waiting time. People need to know this and stop wasting their money patronizing Smartweb Nigeria. I have been patient hoping things will change but obviously, they just keep getting worse by the minute. You have been warned. |

It is a great privilege to be leading this great country on a unity tour once again, says the Convener of Flagtour Project, Larry Dew. The brilliant strategist, who has undiluted passion for Nigeria and Unity started an uncommon trend of using the Nigerian National Flag to stir patriotism in 2010, a project called Flagtour with its popular patriotism provocative majear ‘Stir Paatriotism’. The trial project was launched on 7th December, 2012, a project he tagged soloflagtour which saw a single Nigerian National Flag travel to 9 States in Nigeria and 3 other Countries. I am ready to take the Nigerian Flag to all the States in Nigeria, and this time around, I will be driving. This is a declaration statement from Larry Dew, the convener and brand strategist of Flagtour Project this morning. On September 20th, 2015, I will begin the journey. The official press conference date will be announced soon, he added. The journey so far in planning Flagtour has been a great pleasure to innovate something unique for the Country. Something all Nigerians should be proud of. The current Flagtour Project is called ’74 Days RoadTrip’. This tour is a special tour, what he has considered as one of the most challenging tour of his career. Larry Dew takes pleasure in developing patriotism projects as well as spear heading them. Some of the previous tours includes taking a single Nigerian National flag to 3 Countries outside Nigeria which include United States, United kingdom and South Africa in 2012/2013. Also, in the period, he took the same Flag to 9 States, the Project he called ‘Solo Flagtour’. He said, the initial tours were preparation phase to develop, analyze risks and also to measure logistics and plan for the future projects (events). 74Days Roadtrip will be a tour that will feature Larry Dew, driving a car with a Single National flag to all the States in Nigeria including the FCT. He will be driving on a day interval. A day will be for the journey, while a day will be for activities within the State which he travels to, making it an approximate of 2 days per state. The activities of the trip include visits to orphanage homes, parks, schools, religious homes, work places etc with the aim of turning the touring flag to a valuable asset that every Nigerian will desire to touch. One of the aims of the project is also to attract both national and international image enhancement pride to the national flag - An act of Patriotism. The flag that he has considered to be one of the most valuable Flags in the World. The special flag will be hoisted in every State it touches in places where an erected flag pole can be found. Images and videos will be made available on the social media pages and official website of the tour (www.tour.flagtourng.com). This promises to be one of the most innovative event of this generation and it talks about only one thing, “Unity and Patriotism” The first Man to touch the touring flag was Pa Taiwo Akinkunmi, the designer of the Nigerian National Flag, on 7th December, 2012; followed by the DG of National Orientation Agency, on September 16, 2013 when the project was launched officially at ThisDay Dome in Abuja. The tour has been designed in such a way that the traveler and volunteers can take part of the project through the new website created for the new tour projects by Flagtour. The website which is now official can be accessed through www.tour.flagtourng.com. The fun part now includes access to the Previous Location, Present Location and Next Location where the tour will be happening. Also, donation can also be made via paypal for Nigerians and fans living abroad. Volunteering is also now easy. Anyone can signify where he/she wishes to join the tour, from any State and also decides to leave the tour whenever they wish to stop. The official Map for the tour is set to be released sometime in August, 2015. The official tour website also has the function of a calendar for all the events that will be happening, the date and time. There is still need for volunteers in managing some of the social activities of the project and the portal will be made open for anyone to start registering their interest as soon as they wish before the portal is closed. There will be online meetings to brief selected volunteers for the trip and those who wish to support the tour. We are also glad to announce that the Traveler, who is also known as the driver of the main tour vehicle will allow one person to join him during the tour in his own car. Various supports, sponsorship and partnership will also be open to people or organizations who wish to be part of the history. There are so many opportunities in supporting the tour. Larry added, that this year, Nigerians who have cars, bikes or trucks will be allowed to join him in the drive to escort the single National Flag across the country, allowing the drive of patriotism in Nigerian Youths who have interests in making history together with him. The Start date, map and assembled team per state will be published soon. Flagtour innovation, activation and purpose is not designed to favour any politician, political campaign nor affiliated with any political party, nor politician. Flagtour recognizes every Nigerian Citizens, be it politician or not. Flagtour project is an intellectual property and copyright of Larry Dew. Flagtour project is endorsed by the Federal Ministry of Interior, and Federal Ministry of Youth Development. Flagtour project is acknowledged by Office of Secretary to the Commission, National Planning Commission and Federal Ministry of Tourism, Culture and National Orientation. Flagtour was established on March 10, 2010 with series of projects. Join the team, volunteers are needed. #StirPatriotism

Dear Members and Friends: We have been waiting a long time of a messiah that will change and transform the situation of Nigeria from this uncomfortable state. We looked from one mind to the other, a larger percentage of the leaders are not honest to us, the citizens. We are writing this to ask for your support and participation in an important grassroots peace initiative being conducted by SNIF(Saved Nigerian Future), a civil society group of individuals from Nigeria throughout the world. In 1981, the United Nations General Assembly established the International Day of Peace (IDP). It was in 2001 that the UN modified the resolution and fixed September 21st as the annual date of the IDP. The intention of the new resolution is to have the entire world observe a full day of "global ceasefire and nonviolence.” The potential impact is enormous as individuals, communities and countries in conflict lay down their arms and share a full day of peace. This is the vision behind the United Nations’ resolution for an International Day of Peace. Building peace one day at a time. On 1st October 1960, Nigeria obtained her freedom to become an Independent Nation. The Known Flag of Nigeria which was hoisted on that day was designed and meant to serve a purpose. The flag symbolizes Unity, Peace and Agricultural improtance(a symbol of our wealth). As one way of observing the Independence day, we ought to celebrate its relevance to our achievement. But because of the tattered image that is presented before us by our leaders, we can only celebrate what we have. But, we say that we can change this with our own hands as a nation as a United Nigeria on 1st of October, 2010. On this day, we have proposed to present as a Nation a Flag of Nigeria, a contribution of all efforts of the entire citizen, or majority. A welcome support of the Government will be welcome but it should really be the citizens’ party of support. A place to start, a better way of beginning the journey the right way. We want support from many peace based NGOs and individuals representing a wide variety of religious and spiritual traditions that are advocating a "Nigeria of Progress, Peace and Growth”. We propose this flag flies on the Golden jubilee at Eagle Square in Abuja on 1st of October 2010 and that’s the reason we tagged the Flag “Jubilee Flag”. The features of this flag are outstanding, but we see no reason why a flag that will be made by the support of Nigerians will not be the most expensive flag in the world. We had to search for what the most expensive flag in the world is on the Guinness World Record and, behold ‘NONE’ was recognized. The flag that was recognized was only known by proxy, the British Flag. We have seen this as a wonderful opportunity to drag the Name of this great country to the Guinness World Record, at least if a single Nigerian can singly drag the Nigerian image to the blacklist of America via terrorism, we can change our fortune. "To encourage worldwide, 24-hour support for Unity, nonviolence and global love for Nigerians established on the Independence Day , our Golden Jubilee Day, 1st October, 2010 in every home of Nigerian and place of spiritual practice, by all religious and spiritually based groups and individuals and by all men, women and children who seek Unity in the world." These global 24-hour support for Unity observations for peace are meant to demonstrate the power Unity of prayer and other sincere observations in promoting peace and preventing violent conflict. They will also help raise public awareness of the Golden Jubilee Day and can directly support the establishment of Saved Nigerian Future. You can personally support this worldwide initiative by committing to voluntarily support in organizing the events surrounding the conduct and campaign towards raising Nigerians to join and promulgating the Vigil idea among religious and peace-based groups in your community and the tour of the Jubilee flag. Please register your commitment to participate in the voluntary Support for SNIF website at: www.snif-ng.org, or email: info@snif-ng.org. Indicate the name of the individual or group participating, a contact person and the number of people participating in the events. All commitments will be posted on the website. Your participation in this worthwhile effort is most appreciated by certifying you with a Certificate of Participation. Please assist by passing this on to other individuals and groups that might be interested in participating in physical observations. Let us present to Nigeria the most expensive Flag in the World as her Golden Jubilee Gift and together, we can move this nation forward. Are you afraid? No, you should not be. This is Nigeria, our Country. For Supports and inquiries, please, email us at info@snif-ng.org. Sincerely, ***************************************** Resolution adopted by SAVED NIGERIAN FUTURE with reference to Main Committee 10|03|10 Golden Jubilee Day, Nigeria. Your URGENT support is needed. Join us by sending your replies to us. Thank you.

Dear Everyone, I am just one of the many but ready to make a sacrifice to what is worth it. I dont know about you but i know its time we Nigerian graduates sit down and think of something achievable together. Thinking of achieving something together will be one of the greatest thing that had ever happened to this country. Lets reason together at this time, i know this is not the first time individuals have tried innovating something, but in one way or the other, only one person want to take the glory. This idea works for few and many are still dying to fulfill another mans' destiny at the expense of his. There is no respect like calling a dream ours, made not by one of us, but by all of us. Lets think about it. You can say impossible, again and again, great men say that word impossible was made for the brilliant by an idiot. If you reason along with me, please dont hesitate to call on me on 08056436739 or email me at samadex3@gmail.com. This is no joke, we can make so many things out of little. Little will always exist. This great Nation is counting on us. We could break the code in less than four months, lets reason together, This thread is open to critics as well, |
