Recently, at the Mobile World Congress 2015 in Barcelona, Gionee unveiled the Gionee Elife S7. Gionee Elife S7 smartphone is about 5.2 inch having a 1080×1920 display resolution powered by 1.7GHz processor alongside 2GB RAM running on the Android OS, v5.0 (Lollipop) with a 13MP rear camera.

The front and the back of the device are both protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass. The black and the light blue variant of the Elife S7 are potential fingerprint magnets. At 126.5g, the phone is also pretty light.

The 5.2″ AMOLED display with 1080p resolution uses ACL tech, which promises to reduce power usage by 25%. There’s also a Dark theme, which further drops power draw by 30% compared to the default theme. A new Sensor Hub (courtesy of Freescale) has been integrated into the chipset to collect sensor data, so that the CPU has to wake up 20% less often and do that itself.

The release of the Samsung Galaxy S6 has also led to the launch of another awesome flagship Smartphone called Samsung Galaxy S6 edge .

It’s more like the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge having just little differences in its improvements on the battery life, charging with some minors.

Samsung boasted that this newly released Smartphone would have the “fastest, brightest camera on the market” and showed how it was able to illuminate a night scene.

With the success of the Apple Pay, Samsung also had promised its new devices Samsung Galaxy S6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 edge to be equipped with Samsung Pay- a contact-less payment system.

Both phones are equiped with wireless charging, making power cords obsolete. In ten minutes, Samsung says the devices can get enough charge for four hours of everyday usage.

“The new Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge phones are a big improvement in design,” Patrick Moorhead, analyst at Moor Insights & Strategies, told ABC News. “[But] Apple’s consistency versus Samsung’s inconsistency will win most consumers over.”

The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge feels like mostly screen in the hand which is great as it’s verging on Phablet territory with that 5.1-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED screen all encased in Gorilla Glass 4.
