Business / Why Can't Nigeria As A Nation Adopt The Use Of The Dollar As Our Local Currency. by sambright(m): 7:38pm On Mar 28, 2017 |
I am of the opinion that since our economy is import dependent why can't we adopt and adapt the dollar as our local currency? at least it would save us from inflation and globe economies.... In addition Canada as a country make use of the Canadian dollar which is almost close to US dollar when converted; Nigerian can have their own Nigerian dollar. Scholars should please help me out. |

Education / We Thought They Loved Us, Little Did We Know That They Cared Less by sambright(m): 7:07am On Dec 09, 2016 |
With joy, we matriculated together. Hopes were high, we thought we are going to have our convocation together. Little did we know that our lecturers will not play their part. In a class of over 50 graduates, only 24 had their convocation yesterday. Not because others failed a course, Not because they have extras but because their supervisors refused to mark, grade and submit their project results for proper processing. No hopes of going for NYSC anytime soon, No hope of convocating till the next 365 days. 2014/2015 set of the department of URBAN and REGIONAL PLANNING has been shown what wickedness really is, despite the fact that we have graduated since April. In a school with a vice chancellor; In a faculty with a Dean; In a department with a Head. Its so so sad!!!!!! Now we have to convince our parents that we are not extra students...Now we have to convince our friends that our department refused to process our results for no good reason at all. How come 24 results were processed? And the remaining results were left out. These are questions on our lips as our friends, colleagues and class mates wear their gown to celebrate their exit from OAU... The school we were once proud of. |
