Yah, its not only possible in six weeks, its something we have repeatedly done overtime with outstanding results.
We normallly complete F5 syllabus in 36 hours of meeting. So we only need to meet for 2 times in a week in order to complete the syllabus in 6 weeks. (Each meeting of 3hrs)
I have written the F5 paper myself with a result could be very proud of.
I have been teaching paper F5 since 2008.
I also personally teach f7 and f9 but we have other qualified lecturers that specialises in other courses (f1 - p7)

prof joe!i reaaly apprecaite your post.do u run any private lectures at least for those that want to write level one.Please kindly reply on time cos i need people like u to put me through the curriculum.The exam fee is quite much and i cannot afford to gamble with such money.

I think people should start showing a measure of courtesy and respect for a fellow nairalander.

Basically I know of two routes to becoming a chartered accountant in Nigeria.
1. ICAN
2. ACCA
Being an HND holder couple with some other benefits I will advise you go for ACCA. This is because ACCA will give you opportunity of getting a Bsc in Applied accounting from one of the best universities in UK i.e. Oxford Brookes university.
Moreover, ACCA is more flexible and recognised GLOBALLY.

I dont know of any ACCA tuition centre in the Island but I think Synergy in Iponri is not too far.
However, I will recommend good private tutorial for you since you don't want to leave the Island. Moreover, private tutorial ensures better understanding and better coverage of the syllabus without much stress.
