Suppose I can make 20% monthly:

Prop:- month 1. I buy $5k challenge for 32 (FNext), after one month, with 20% return, I would have passed challenge and made +5% profit= 5k x 5%= $250 in profit. 80% profit share should give me $200 take home.

Broker:- Suppose I deposited $32 into brokerage account and I made 20% at month ending that would be $32 x 20%= 6.4 take home profit.


And about the inherent risk about prop; life is even more riskier; you could get run by a truck

Or a building might collapse on you

or you could make a million dollar.

Or you could make a million dollar and get run by a truck into a collapsing building.


Just do your research, manage your risk and leave what is out of your control.

Good evening traders. Please I need your advise on this. I've been learning how to trade and have mastered the craft but was constrained by funds to start trading.

Fortunately, I told my brother about it and we agreed that I will be trading for him while we share the profit.

He proposed to be paying me 25% commission plus feeding. I live in his house because he has steady light. But as a trader you know most account managers take between 35% to 50% commission, I agreed because he's my elder brother.

I started on 23rd July and from $3,825 deposit, I've made $1,750 profit.

We are to withdraw profit by next week Friday which will make it a month.

From this $1,750 profit, I told him we will withdraw $1,500 instead of $1,750 so that his balance will be up to $4,000 because his plan was to deposit $4,000 when we were starting but due to high exchange rate, his #6.4m deposit didn't give up to $4,000.

I was surprised and angry this evening when he told me that out of the $1,500 we are to withdraw, he will give me $200. I replied him that I thought it's 25%. He then said okay I will take $250, which is still below my share of $375.

And we still have next week to trade.

Please how do I approach him? The emotional stress and the discomfort. I trade 1hr timeframe and wake up every 1hr at night to manage trades while he sleeps well then is it too hard to stick to the agreement.

And as for your brother who wants to cheat you, collect whatever he gives you and never go further with trading the account untill he makes it (ur share) up to $500. Prove to him your value here. Show him how prop firm share profits (the trader's ultimate)

Modified: This your brother doesn't know he is supposed to settle you handsomely? In short you're to be given 60% while he keeps 40%. Cos, you might intentionally blew his cash away if you aren't happy with him for cheating you.

Tomorrow: 14th August, there will be USD Core CPI/m/m. CPI m/m, CPI y/y news. All forecasted to rise!!! If you like yourself and your equity, better "WAait" after 1:30pm Nigerian time before you take your trade paired again USD.

Cos, if the forecast is met(or close to) or above, the dollar will raise wella,relatively to certain weak currencies. Reason, the USDIndex don currently find support zone and if forecast fail to close up with previous number,then the down trend go continue..

Like I said, is not the automatic closing of your trades is the issue with your account, it is the HFT.

I saw screenshot of your trade history. Ho low we’re you able to open 15 position on different pairs in 120 seconds “without using robots” ?

Unless you can explain that convincingly, proving that you did not use a robot, and you were not taking guessed picks.
I would be difficult to see your trades as anything but HFT.

Maybe you can come to a agreement with them and obtain a new challenge account free.

Check the image, you'll see they closed all the trades at the same time and it was late at night. I just woke up to see a mail that I've passed the challenge

If they flagged his account for HFT, it means his trades' hold-time are less a minute and a half (1:30).

And the 14 trades that he said was closed, simultaneously, at once would be violating Layering rules if they're all on the same instrument.

Although I'm fairly new to trading.
I have been using this prop account for training.
For some times I have been in drawdown with the emotional baggages that comes with it.

With time and learning, I'm not even afraid to take trades anymore because I have get the right frame of mind for this trading I'm less fearful when I see my setup.

I asked because they closed all my trades themselves when I hit the target for both phase 1 and 2.
Then they failed to give me the funded account stating that I used robot to close my trades.
