Have you ever considered schooling abroad? Did you know that you can study abroad for free and also have 50% discounts whenever you use public services? Did you also know that you can school and also work? Yes, officially, you have 25 hours of work, every week Did you know that you can study from Degree to PHD level (any course) free of charge? I know this may sound too good to believe but it is very real. The Finnish government offered free tuition to her citizens and international students from all walks of life. However, there are ways to go about it, especially for Nigerians. The next application period is on, so any interested person should act fast. The government is even proposing to introduce tuition soon, but once you are in, you are covered. Hence the need to act fast. I was invited for the test too but i couldnt make it down to Abuja. I had earlier inquired from the house perhaps anybody knows anything about them. How did the test go? Thanks |
Fellow nairalander, i received a message on my phone and my email from New Eden Consulting inviting me for a Pre-Interview Test in Abuja by this Saturday(09/01/2010). I live in Lag and i think it make a sense for me to know how serious they are before i leave here. Thanks 08037262923 |
As much as i do not support the nonsense our government is doing, i believe H. Clinton deserved a far worse reception. Its high time the Americans are shown that been underdeveloped doesnt mean one should lost his mind. Strategically speaking,Nigeria is very important in Washington calculation in order to ensure constant oil supply which she needed badly to maintain her industrial capacity. This explains why the US Secretary of State has to visist Nigeria to sooth strayed nerves since Ghana was chosen instead of Nigeria during President Barack Obama visit to Africa. But the point remains that can Nigeria or other small nation land on American land without proper arrangement in the name of security? Nigeria is a sovereign state and its sovereignty shouldnt be taken for granted. |
I dont really know why some people are so intolerant. I think this forum should be for matured minds and not for religion fanatics. However, let it be said that nobody can fight for God! I think its high time we learnt to accept that fact. |

A visit to Hitv office at 10,Ondo Street,Ebute Metta on Wednessday,Thursday and Friday this week would confirm how truly undeveloped or underdeveloped Nigeria is and also calls into question the usefulness or effectiveness of our Consumer Protection Agency. This is because Hitv service is not only poor but the long que of customers waiting to be attended to at the office is very disturbing and embarrassing. I was shocked when i got to the office and saw more than 3,000 people waiting to be attended to.They all looked weak.I tried to inquire why the que was that long but i was dumbfolded when one of they told me that the office is the only one HITV has in the country. He pointed to more than 16 people who had come from Northern States of the country to either make payment or lodge one complain or the other.I asked why they have to go through all the stress when they could easily call Hitv customer care line and lodge any complain, but they said before coming down to Lagos, they had tried it for more than 4 days and the response they were getting was that " THE LINE YOU HAVE CALLED IS SWITCHED OFF,PLEASE TRY AGAIN LATER" and just to confirm it, i tried all the customer care lines, none was going through. The one that suprise me most was when i discovered that for you to be attended to in time, you have to pay this Hitv staff 1,500 in addition to the 4,000 which is the subscribtion fee.I felt its wrong and wanted to call the attention of the management to it, but i was told the management knew about it.I could not but start wondering what is wrong with our country.Bribery and corruption seems to be the order of the day and its vissible in every aspect of our daily life.I tried to stop people from this but i later realised its better for them to pay the 1,500 and get the needed service rather than to spend another 2 or 3 days waiting for attention which they might not even get at the end of the day. I've been to DSTV's office many times and i havent seen this kind of inefficiency there. All you need do is to call the customer care line and you'll be attended to. However, i think the way forward from this problem is that our customer Protection Agency should learn more about living to the responsibility of the office and maybe our government should rewiew the consequences of giving a sole right to an company.I believe if Hitv has competitors on Premiership right, they would have taken their customers into consideration |

The recent happennings in the House of Representatives is not only disturbing, but it calls into question the ability of all our lawmakers to make laws that will change the life of all Nigerians.Since they resumed duty, they are yet to pass any bill that willl drastically affect the life of the common man on the street. All they are occupied with is the ETTE saga.I think in my own opinion, they should all resign honourably because they have disapointed us all.As for ETTE,she is nothing but a disgrace, I am highly disapointed in her,but i think we can leviel all the blame on her,its her IMPOSITOR(OBASANJO) that should be blamed ![]() |
