Career › Re: Are You Happy Where You Work Currently? by Samiobapon(m): 5:52pm On Apr 18, 2022 |
I am not happy at all, just trusting God for better days ahead for me and my family.
Being over-utilized and under-paid. Working with a system that brings someone else from the outside to do same thing you've been doing for about ten (10) years and placing same person ahead of you in multiple time is demoralizing.
I pray things get better for me and all experiencing same issue by God's Grace.
Amen! |

Politics › Re: Fayose Reacts To President Buhari Saying That Nigerian Youths Don't Like To Work by Samiobapon(m): 1:37pm On Apr 19, 2018 |
Oh God my Father, please why are all these things happening to us? Is it a crime to be from this part of the world? I know that you've seeing my struggles, my brothers'/sisters' that of my old mama as a petty trader who did all she could when she was very active to make us a great hawker and taught us how to be self dependent
She suffered to raise us and now i'm suffering to raise her During all this period i and my brethren never waited for any oil money I hawked in the streets of Lagos as a primary school boy, i worked as a car washer in my secondary days and after my secondary education, i walked as a factory worker in some of the Indian companies for 8 years
Despite my health condition as an Asthmatic patient, i work from Mon-Fri, school Sat&Sun, i do a job that pays me little,i didn't relent and wait for oil money from FGN I applied for my OND and after 4 years of my OND i am now running an HND program all with black bitter sweat, hard struggles and great grace of God and without waiting for oil money from FGN
Many times i and my brother returned home with bruises on our knees, arms, shoilders and faces without gain or main capital but pain and shame as a result of minor accidents in the traffic We never expected oil money from FGN
We became great hawker, relentless Laborer so as to make ends meet, without oil money or scholarship of any kind that those old folks enjoyed and we are still struggling to be more responsible than some of their children I know that there are many other youths whose experiences are more bitter than mine And we never relent or wait on oil money because we're not lazy, We are not lazy, Nigerian youths are not lazy, Nigerian youths are the best youths in the world
Nigerians youths are the only youths that travels out of their fatherland to get a job they they couldn't get at home
Please, Mr. PMB kindly mention a country where we can't a youth from your country there, I don't think there is one. So, please respect our struggle! respect our strength!! And respect our fatherland!!!
God bless Nigeria! |

It's good to give when you have and when you truly know that that your friend of yours doesn't really have but not as a prodigal son.
Some friends are just around you because of your money, try stop spending for a while to know who your true friends are.
And on the issue of lending out to people,
only lend to those you are convinced about about the circumstances surrounding borrowing and whatever you can't give away totally don't lend it out to people except if you truly you've taken your time to study and tried that particular.
Blessed is the one that give it than the one that take it. |

AutoJoshNG: Have you been left stranded with all that flood? Do you need a vehicle that has no limit?
Then we have the right answer for you. It's the Land Rover Defender SVX. Sure, this is what you saw in James Bond's "Spectre", but was sent to Land Rover racing specialist "Bowler" and even upgraded further. The truck gets 37-inch tyres, Bilstein rally dampers, upgraded engines from 120hp to 185hp, roll cage, Recaro racing buckets, harnesses, diamond-plated parts and some heavy ropes on the bonnet.
All the Land Rover Defender SVX in the "Spectre" movies were destroyed during the shooting except this single one that survived.. as it was only used for drive-by. It was then bought by a customer who has now decided to put it up for auction in London. So if you are interested in it, you can head to RM Sotheby's auction in September.
See more photos taken by Simon Clay and let's know the maximum amount you will pay for it.

Politics › Re: Restructuring: Northern Governors & Traditional Rulers Meet In Kaduna by Samiobapon(m): 3:49pm On Jul 27, 2017 |
stephanie11: All the 19 Northern governors on Thursday morning met with all the Northern Traditional rulers including the Emir of Kano and the Sultan of Sokoto, at the Sir Kashim Ibrahim House, Kaduna state.
The governors under the aegis of Northern States Governors' Forum (NSGF) met with Northern States Council of Emirs and Chiefs. The meeting was co-chaired by the Governor of Katsina State Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari and Sultan of Sokoto Alhaji Muhammad Sa'ad Abubakar II.Governor Masari was sitting in for the substantive Chairman of the forum Governor Kashim Shettima of Borno State, who was among the delegation of Nigerian Governors' Forum that visited President Buhari in London yesterday.
The reason for the meeting is not yet known but it is alleged that it might be connected to the Senate's rejection of the devolution of powers(restructuring) to states on Wednesday. The Senate made the decision on Wednesday via electronic voting during a series of amendments to the 1999 Nigerian Constitution.
PoliticsNGR gathered that the development has since sparked mixed reactions from the populace in the south-south and the south-eastern part of the country who have been in the forefront of agitations for the restructuring of the country.
