Ciampa is good but it's hard to stand out when the focus is on bigger guys like Jacob, Solo, Cody, Drew, Sami and Orton.

I'd say he got lost in the shuffle of a crowded roster.
He was presented as a credible challenger to Lashley and Gunther during their US and IC title reigns.
They reunited him with Gargano to reform DIY but fans didn't care that much. Even after they turned heel, the focus of that division was on MFT and Ojuju squad. All tag teams on SmackDown are suffered as a result.
He had a brief feud with Ilja in his attempt to with the US title then left when his contract expired.

back stage role notwithstanding I'm referring to his role on TV. He isn't beating anyone to make them look good. He's a clown. Beating him would be a waste of time. If at all you don't believe he can be world champion at least make him a serious jobber. It's better than this.

thats coping at best. Nobody serious gets into the business to not become World champ. If even by the slightest chance what you're saying is true; do you expect anyone to actually properly get over by beating a man that literally dresses like a high school student for his wrestling matches? Change his character or fire him.

The gimmick may not be serious
but don't doubt his wrestling ability. He's more of a trainer in the performance center than wrestler.
Man has been wrestling since 2008. He's faced Claudio, Adam Cole, Kyle Oreilly, Swerve and other vets on ROH and indies.

They're lots of people like that in wrestling, who may not seem serious but what they do behind the scenes is important.
Sadly, not everyone makes it to be world champ or midcard champ.
There are underneath guys whose roles are to make the champs look good.

Some of the best coaches in soccer were average players.

The forbidden door PPV, NJPW signings and collaboration, Tony Khan has today won't be possible without the contribution of a jobber called Rocky Romero.
Al snow trained Cody.
Norman Smiley trained Roman, Sheamus, Big E.
Brian Myers/Curt Hawkins trained your current AEW male and female Champion.
The likes of Shawn Spears, Tyler Breeze, QT Marshal are in that category.

I really want to know who Adam Pearce spoke to a couple weeks ago. Not only did he reinstate Bronson Reed and put him in the Royal Rumble, but he put every member of The Vision in the match as well. Plus after Austin Theory defeated Rey Mysterio, the world’s worst GM did nothing to stop The Vision from massacring Rey, Penta, and Dragon Lee post match. Usually Adam is out with mad security and with veins bulging out of his neck. But not this time. He enabled the carnage by doing nothing to stop it. This is a mystery I want solved. I just pray it’s a satisfying answer and not something silly like the anonymous GM.

Finn is a man backed into a corner right now and I'm loving it, I still think it's too early for AJ to be retiring, he is still very explosive and agile.

I don't know. I just remember COVID, lost fans for supporting Biden, bad publicity for his contract terms, squabble with Diesel that made him look egotistical, rumours he was a clone and child molester and all that; he became unrecognisable. Speaking of unrecognisable - I noticed he changes physically and characteristically over the years, it's so rapid it's crazy. The only thing that doesn't change about him is his gimmick style of talking.
Back to the matter, I think he lost authenticity and had his management dictate too much for him.

Most Hollywood celebs are democrats and Dwayne has a lesbian daughter. It's obvious he'd go left.

his PR game has been on a steep decline since COVID. I feel bad for him. But I think he needs to go back to basics. His latest movie is a good start in my opinion. A broken skull sessions can also be a good idea for that PR ish. Time to rewatch some 90s Rock to relive the good feeling.

I doubt there's anything authentic about Dwayne Johnson anymore.
If there ever was an interview, it will be a prop to sell his myriad of products.

Man abandoned Cena in the heel storyline.
His attempt to make a serious movie flopped.
The force takeover of DC also ended in disaster.

So WWE's terrible bookings and decisions have become the new standard. It wasn't so 20 years ago.

Who's justifying their booking here? Everyone knows I'm one of their biggest critics. Her merch will always continue to sell based on what she's done for female young wrestlers.
20 years ago, I'm sure they were still doing bra and panties matches. How well were women portrayed then?

all you had to say was "she doesn't have the capacity". There's nothing wrong with that. At worst, the return fell below the hype. About milking matches, I don't agree. You can milk matches and still have them show up regularly.

We have a champion who hasn't wrestled over 10 mins match in over a 100 days since she won the title .
We also have Nikki Bella being featured in the championship contendership. If it was about capacity, they'd have no issue featuring AJ weekly.
It doesn't take a genius to know she'd feature regularly as we approach mania but 20 years experience no fit decipher TKO pattern.
