shaiguy: It's pretty simple, I need a writer who is witty, understands Nigerians and who can write 5 short stories around an extremely boring topic. There might be more.
Story will be around you main individuals who work in a company and how they relate with customers and save the day in funny ways.

hatchy: You are a very big fool for spreading this lies like mosquito. The elders never asked for matching ground or whatever you call it.The delay on that road was because the community insisted that the road must be dualized while the state government said it lacked such fund to do so.Woji and Elelewo roads were earmarked to be rehabilitated same time, but Woji road is completed still as single carriage way while the people of Elelewo insisted that it their own must be dualized. Pls before you start spreading rumours and lies check and cross check your source.People like you misinform and mislead the public . seriously i wonder what it will take u to pass your message without insulting...in what i wrote, i said that is what i heard...please watch your words because it can cost you something... |

That is my area...the project was started earlier this year...according to what i heard they would have started with oil mill elelenwo first before going down to akpajo but elelenwo elders asked the government for 'matching ground'...imagine the nonsense...the government had to leave them and start from akpajo...and the construction is handled by JB so we are expecting a solid road. |

Christianity Etc › Re: Why Use The Letter 'X' When Referring To Christians? by SamJed(op): 8:01pm On Jun 05, 2016 |
SUPERPACK: It turns out, “Xmas” is not a non-religious version of “Christmas”. The “X” is actually indicating the Greek letter “Chi”, which is short for the Greek , meaning “Christ”. So “Xmas” and “Christmas” are equivalent in every way except their lettering. . In fact, although writing guides such as those issued by the New York Times; the BBC; The Christian Writer’s Manual of Style; and Oxford Press discourage the use of Xmas in formal writing, at one time, it was a very popular practice, particularly with religious scribes, who are thought to have started the whole “Xmas” thing in the first place. Indeed, the practice of using the symbol “X” in place of Christ’s name has been going on amongst religious scholars for at least 1000 years. . Eventually, this shorthand trick spread to non-religious writings where nearly everywhere “Christ” appeared in a word, the Greek Chi would replace that part of the word. For example, in the 17th and 18th centuries, there are numerous non-religious documents containing instances of “Xine”, which was a common spelling for someone whose name was Christine. thanks for the info but since we use English why don't we stick to it rather than using the Greek one...i think the English one expresses the words 'christmas' and 'Christian' better...my thought though |

Christianity Etc › Why Use The Letter 'X' When Referring To Christians? by SamJed(op): 2:01pm On Jun 05, 2016 |
Why say xtians instead of Christian Why say Xmas instead of Christmas Why substitute Christ for x knowing fully well that X signifies bad Even if it is long to type, why use 'x' of all letters Would 'C' not have been better Personally, I try as much as possible to type it in full because Christ shouldn't be replaced with 'X'... |

This is what he said...
“We had to cut down half the number of permanent secretaries and then do some cross postings. The permanent secretaries that were there for the past five, seven, 15 years the only thing that they know is how things were done in the previous years. Whatever we did in the campaign, in fact we were saying rubbish and that made it very difficult for us.

Politics › Now Is The Time To Campaign by SamJed(op): 7:07am On May 24, 2016 |
I wonder why other parties should wait till 2018 before they start campaigning. Since most people don't like PDP again and the APC are performing way below expectation, I think now is the time for parties such as KOWA, HOPE and even Labour party to step up their game. They should pick on the current flaws of the APC and start convincing us to vote for them come 2019. 2018 is definitely not the best time to start campaigning. They should start NOW.
