If u didnt beat ur cutoff mark, all tinz ar possible 2 do wu bliv in miracles. Also dos wu were counted worthy 2 beat it, we shldnt 4get d God factor. Well nw dat we v crossed d bridge of jamb, post jamb and cutoff.
I nid to raise dis issue bt nt to instigate fear thou bt to enlighten ourselves on d next hurdle to cross.
I kinda had a discussion wit a friend in sch abt admission list, registration, accreditation blah blah blah.... And d outcome was kind of a so so circumstance wit an ambivalence portrait. Well I knw I shud wait till we get to d bridge of registration inter alia b4 attempting to cross bt I tink its nt a bad idea if I v d full info, details nd fully equiped b4 getting to d bridge to cross. I nid, most pple nid to knw sometins here. Wat exactly hapens @ registration/accreditation nd wat r d causes of last minute denial of admission.
*note m nt trying to bring in fear bt to clear my wind pipe on d matta on ground, we have dwell long enough on our past achievements its neva too soon to look ahead.

UNN For The Money, OAU ForThe Quality!!

Only 12,000 Candidates Crossed 200 For the OAU Post-Utme, and the University invited only these candidates for the Post-Utme, since they want to Uphold the quality of their students, against Federal Government's degrading standard and announcement of 180.
About 5,700 persons pass this examination, out of which5,000 can be admitted.
This means about 95% of candidates who passed the OAU Post-Utme screening would be definitely admitted, and #Jambhelp thinks that's a good pass/admission rate.
However, the University of Nigeria, UNN on the other hand has over 19,000 Candidates who qualified for the screening at a cut-off of 200, and knowing fully well, that she can admit only 7,000candidates a session, went ahead to bring the cut-off mark down to 180, just to benefit from the extra N66m that would come from the extra 33,000 Candidates, at N2,000 per post-utme application form. She could easily get 7,000 students from the 19,000 who qualifiedwith 200 and above, why the extra 53,000?
#Puffmicky of #Jambhelp once did say, "When I talk about admissions in Nigeria, Its not about the number of applicants, but the number ofsuccessfully admitted applicants that does matter to me".

In 2011 my aggregate was over 270 and just 2 marks behind cut-off and then I was "ON MY OWN"

U guys shud encourage sum1 at least, for the fact that u guys r veterans in oau pume nd admission tins or students already doesn't mean that those who wrote for the first time can't air their callow views abt d institution, at least u guys shud guide nd nt condemn to OYO, I remember how sum students nd ex students were clamouring on how extremely hard oau pume is, bt check out dis yr questions, it was very cheap, thou limited time.

social science candidates marks were low compare to odas like d sciences who had 260+ I knw of a scholar in social science dat got 176, highest v seen so far is 230+ thou frm my vintage point, how was it yonder?
