[s] SpecialAdviser: I don't like being tribal but the way most of you celebrated victory against Fulani herdsmen even to the extent of calling out other tribes is so unsophisticated.
Haba, you simply gave a quit notice which they have not respected, you started celebrating that they have apologized. Lol. Will the apology end the crime? Who told you Fulanis understand the statement of dialogue? At a day ESN was already exchanging fire with Nigerian soldiers on same issue.
All these meetings and dialogue will never remove Fulani from the forest. In fact, it will energize them the more. Stop celebrating nonsense. We all have to continue the pressure on herdsmen until the whole south is librated. Sunday Igboho house has been put on fire by these I.d.iots. To tell you the issue at hand is yet to be over. [/s] Early morning trash https://www.nairaland.com/silvernorgoldhttps://www.nairaland.com/arewa1stsonCheck their post history and comments in the last 5 days. Fact is you can't push away other tribes from your land. You can only cage them by forcing them to submit to your will. Make use of your head, registering the herdsmen is very important from there, critical decisions can be taken on them |

Arewa1stSon: Hmm I know you gonna spill trash as you've been doing. Anyways let this be clear to you. If Eze Ndigbo can be flogged and the title can be banned in Ondo state. Then you Fulanis just a piece of trash that'll can be easily be thrown away anytime. BTW, educate your fellow Fulanis to embrace ranching, at least their papa dey president he should provide funds for them. This Is 2021 not 1700. If you guys don't wanna be innovative, then don't bring your backward ideas to the South.

Nothing more feasible for SW than presidency, we have the potentials to the things around if we selected credible candidate.. Other southern region are not exceptional You have the candidate to turn things around Agreed. But do you have the numbers? Definitely NO. |

ChoCho54: It's a poisoned chalice. Fulanis own every land. It is their Allah given rights. How then do you declare him illegal when he's landlord? He simply won't comply.
This matter is a national dilemma that only restructuring or referendum can solve!
Anything short of that is cosmetic solution. You know its almost impossible you stop an indigene from living in your state. Even tho illegal hospitality shouldn't be accepted. I quote Mrvitalis (aka igbochief001) on this, he says our problem in South is because we want to be politically correct. Which is true |
Politics › Re: Now That Fulanis Has Bow To Pressure, What Next? by Sammy07(op): 7:36pm On Jan 25, 2021 |
helinues: And that would continue to cause more insecurities...
The herdsmen knew the Southern region had no alternative than to patronise them all because there is no competition.
Let the southern governors initiate their own ranching and let see if the Fulani herdsmen would be flocking around considering the Government beef will come at cheap price Well, I think I agree with you on these even tho we always have different opinions |

mrvitalis: Ask your self is south west greener than niger ? ...do u have more bush than niger ? What are they doing in the south west
Read about takiya ....shebi there is a court ruling banning open grazing ....why can't they implement it
Fulanis are not people u can keep close
I'm igbo ...I rather give a Yoruba village land to relocate to my village than a fulani man
We want to be politically correct that's our problem Well.............. No comment |

mrvitalis: When people talk about this fulani issue as a small issue I laugh ...for the past 300 years show me a fulani neighbor they didn't take over their land or attempted to
They were giving grazing reserve in jos today it's a fulani local government area ...your deputy speaker house of reps is from there
They only pretend to accept your condition when they know they are not yet powerful enough to attack u You guys should go back to read the terms. They've accepted One thing you can't do in Nigeria is you can't stop other tribes from staying in your state. Thats why you need to apply wisdom Everything no be gra gra. The SW governors can give them conditions later on to embrace Ranching (meanwhile the Fulanis has accepted the rules and regulations of the government, One of it is registration, nah step by step) Use your brain. |

The fulanis would be back, make no mistake about that. What we need to do now is prepare for the potential end of this country called Nigeria. Dont be caught off guard. Above all, we must now walk away from antagonism between Igbo and Yoruba, we both need to transfer that antagonism to fulani. True but we need to check mate each other. |

Well as obtained from the previous thread https://www.nairaland.com/6382623/macban-no-more-night-grazing, that they're willing to accept the rules and regulations of the government. MACBAN Southwest Zonal Chairman said the association was ready to abide by the rules and regulations of the government https://www.nairaland.com/6382623/macban-no-more-night-grazing All I want from our South West governors is to make sure they compulsory ranching (As obtained in the pics below) If those Fulanis don't have funds to set up, they should go and ask for loans, they should raise funds from their brothers. They need to sign an agreement form or whatever it's called with legal backing. And The government should make ranching compulsory. God Bless South West. God Bless Ile Oodua.

SW1st: MACBAN Southwest Zonal Chairman said the association was ready to abide by the rules and regulations of the government, saying that Governor Akeredolu never asked the Fulanis to leave Ondo State but to get registered if they are illegally occupying the government forest reserve.

Qelvin: ESN guys were literally advancing towards soldiers even while under heavy gunfire and those guys didn't get fazed one bit as they rained back bullets on the soldiers, I was never a believer in Jazz but I'm beginning to believe Jazz must be real cause what I saw today was no joke. There's stampede everywhere in Orlu now and I was thankfully able to lock up my shop and book it to a safer place cause it was like a war zone today. Some soldiers I heard were killed and the Nigerian soldiers came in heavy truckloads and armored vehicles for revenge all dressed in combat fatigues like they were going to war. So far two armored vehicles were burnt along with some police vans when the soldiers retreated, I saw a dead body - a civilian and more painfully a kid lying in his pool of blood in one of the shops while running... I heard about 4 soldiers, 2 policemen were killed... and 3 or 4 civilians caught in the stray bullets were also unlucky.
May God never let us see war in the East. Don't you have governor, senator and house of rep? Chairman lg? Ezes, Obis |
