Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC). The name speaks for itself.

You might see Prof. Ishaq Akintola as figurehead but you wouldn't know the person's behind him, willing him on. So don't go about listing names of persons who you feel are Muslims and civil. Anyone of them can be behind him, cos matter of fact, none of those you listed have openly disagreed with his ways.

MURIC was established as a child of necessity, cos Muslims believed they were deliberately and/or accidentally overlooked and they want to take their rightful place as equal stakeholders. They speak for Muslims everywhere, be it Rivers, Anambra, Kano, Lagos or Osun. They haven't called for anything other than equity.

If Oba is the generic Yoruba word for King, what about Olu? It is just a mere synonym, or are there differences between Olu and Oba?

Or is the difference one of dialect, where Oba is prevalent in one part of Yorubaland and Olu is prevalent in another?

OBA in Yoruba means one who presides, reigns or in charge; the verb is 'ba' while the noun is 'oba'. Hence, the names likes, Obasanjo, Obayemi, etc, also words like Ijoba(reign, ruling), Omoba(prince), Omobabinrin(Princess), etc.

Kabiyesi, Kabiesi is gotten from kabi ọ́ o si, meaning ' there is no one like you'. It's a praise word or greetings for Oba/king or God.

Oòni, Alaafin, Ewi, Ọwá, Olu.., Oni..., are different tittles for different Oba/king in Yorubaland to identify their territories. Linguistically, King simply means Oba.

During my Nysc, I got some cash in camp and I decided to send my little sister 1500 credit for her Phone.

I got the Card scratched and sent to her..

Few minutes later I got a call from a lady ! She said " thank you oooo! I was like, Thank you for What? She said Thank you for the Recharge card! I was like , What Recharge Card?

She is a Namesake of my Kid sister and I had sent to her thinking it was my Sister..

I asked the lady to pls return the card that it was an Error! She said it was the card she was using to thank me!
