Please house, there is argument with some people this morning, someone said commissioner of Information, Health and Education are more popular in a State than a Federal House of Representative Member, I supported the person that a commissioner is more popular in a state because commissioners represents Governors in most Functions in the state, I said it's better to pick a commissioner or former commissioner in a state as Running mate to a Governorship Candidate in an election, House of Representative Member is only Popular in 2 or 3 Local governments whom he Represents in Abuja while commissioners are members of the Governors cabinet members who works under the Governors directives and it makes Commissioners more popular in the state and even house of Assembly members are more popular than House of Representative.

Many secondary school students can mention Names of Commissioners in the state but they cannot mention more than one house of Representative Member in the state.

You did not factor oil allocation which the developed countries may not have.
With prudent management a state can do well with allocation alone and allow citizens to thrive without heavy taxation. This can be achieved by keeping small government that reduces cost of governance

Igbos operated mini states throughout history. Some shallow brain think mega state is superior to mini states but that has been rubbish long ago. Every state is adapted to the needs of the people. Igbos are individualistic in nature. You can't come and increase poverty and be celebrating state IGR

SE economy is run by informal sector. This is why it has high GDP but low IGR. Soludo should understand the peculiarities of the state before joining the IGR bandwagon
