Former Oyo Governor Senator Rashidi Ladoja on Tuesday urged the Federal Government to give self- acclaimed Yoruba freedom fighter, Sunday Adeyemo aka Sunday Igboho and leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu amnesty.

He warned that more of Igboho and Kanu will emerge if government does not handle the duo carefully.

Speaking with journalists in his Bodija residence on Tuesday, the Osi Olubadan of Ibadanland lamented the failure of successive governments to address challenges facing the nation led to emergence of the agitators.

According to him, government should not treat the agitators as criminals but should offer them amnesty as they have done to repentant Boko Haram members in Borno State.

He said: “Federal government has declared amnesty for Boko Haram, they should also declared amnesty for Igboho and the IPOB leader.

“Just like Kanu, to some people, Sunday Igboho has also become a leader, people are agitating for what they believe in. Yoruba leaders including the Alaafin of Oyo have been complaining about atrocities committed by suspected herdsmen and nothing has been done to it till now.

“Boko Haram members were arrested a year ago by the government and have been released to the Borno State government.

“Sunday Igboho was created in the context of killings in Ibarapa axis of Oyo State. Nobody has been arrested for it and even if they were arrested, they were later released. That is why people resorted to self- help.”

Do you seriously believe that Nnamdi Kanu is walking all alone that non of his aids will know that he's in a bad state after no communication for a whole 8 days? You must be a big full if you think so. Since the circulation of his arrest, are you not also disappointed that you have not seen the expected actions from IPOB? Is the silence of IPOB since his arrest not giving you concerns? Obedience - the very essence of even all the other laws that are given us by Jesus Christ, the New Covenant Law inthe Kingdom of God.

What we are called to doing in Jesus Christ is one thing and one thing only, and that is continual submission and obedience of the teachings and commandments of Jesus Christ, that is how we attain righteousness by which we will be judged in the end - Mattthew 25 vs 31 - 46 .

Any other focus is a distraction from that which we are called for and Jesus Christ made this more than clear to each one of us.

Cause the same Jesus Christ tells you in so many ways that many of those who will enter into His Kingdom will enter through the broad gate that leads to Hell/destruction whereas only a few will enter in through th narrow gate that leads to Heaven - Matthew 7 vs 13 - 14

In Matthew 13 vs 47 - 52, Jesus Christ told us the Parable of the fishing net explaining that many of those who will be caught in the net will be thrown away. So, where does this idea that you "win souls for God" really come from?

The purpose evangelism to one's church is mostly for the money. We don't have to mince words. Most pastors don't care about the souls. Numerical strength often translate to higher monthly returns, which for them is good enough.

But no one in Nigeria knows the date of the next Eidl Fitri, till a day before, that is where the problem is!
Dont even compare Christian Holidays, which are fixed from the beginning of the year, to a Muslim Holiday which depends on how a King in Saudi Arabia feels

Should we Nigerians suspend all our Exams and the preparation for them, because we have to wait for another country to tell us when we can do it, since hey are the "Calendar" of the Muslims?
Will Saudi Arabia suspend their own Exams, because Nigeria has a Holiday to observe? When will this kind of stuupidity come to an end?
