If your school admits for both spring and fall, then you can defer for a semester and not an entire year. That way, you'll still have your admission. But, there is no guarantee that you will still have your GA. However, you don't give up. If you're qualified for a GA now, you can always get another the next time you're trying. Myself and children have missed my husband so much he wanted us to come stay with him throughout his study period and I got approval from my employer to resume my duties after the long vacation proposed. But I guess we're denied for wanting to stay for that long. But I miss my husband and would love to see him even if for just a few weeks...*show some emotion here*... so this time I only applied for 6weeks annual leave. Even the children miss their dad very much... ...my father inlaw just sold a landed property where he realised x.million Naira and shared y.million Naira with my husband to support his study. @shannon70 thanks for all you do on this platform and in this thread particularly. Please I have 2 questions... 1. My visa interview on 18th Aug. was successful, but VO gave yellow paper cos I'm going for spring. Earliest admission date is 5th Dec and program start date is 4th Jan, 2023. Please when is the earliest date I can go drop passport considering the 120days policy. Does it count against the earliest admission date or program start date? 2. If I travel as early as 5th of Dec, which is the earliest admission date, is it possible I have any issues with Homeland security at POE? I actually need to move that early so I can fully acclimatise; as North Dakota is not a joke of a freezing weather. I'm on conditional admission and can't afford anything affecting my academics, so I need to be ready body, mind and soul before program begins. Kindly advise please. Thanks again. |
