The moment d new minimum wage sets in, den comes fuel price hike. It has been our routine.... Who will bet me on dis ?

The ideal tin would ha e been to reduce d fuel pump price and cut down on so much taxes paid on imported goods to customs, den Automatically every commodity will fall in price.

I remember when we were paid 7,500 az NYSC alawee..still we were comfortable, even sending Money home . what has gone wrong dis time.

I weep for dis country.

My father told me that a typical Yoruba woman or man visits babalawo at least 2times a week. Dat is 8 times in a Month. I thought it was an ordinary statement, but as I grew up in Lagos , I began to see with my eyes that my father made an understatement of a topical Yoruba person. Tufiakwa!!!!

The stuff stopped working for canada around 2006 and i am not sure it will fly again now too for australia. This is 2017.

Most people still expecting visas when schools have resumed which is very rare in Australia cases.

Things are getting tougher again and AL1 assessment might not work for us due to activities of our brothers and sisters.

If your target intake will be february 2018, i will advise you to just get a good bank statement ready for your school and embassy.

Also, apply very early for your admission and visa.

greetings to everyone in the forum, my wife is a nurse and we applied applied for a Student visa for her to do nursing in Australia 2 weeks ago. we got an email on Thursday morning from the student visa processing center asking her to send evidence of her relationship with the sponsor, in the form of her birth certificates, her mum's, and the sponsor's.

PLEASE, my question is : 1> within how many days are we usually expected to send the notarized copies? becos the sponsor will be back in town on Monday or Tuesday becos he is out of town on a business trip. 2> Can the NATIONAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE be used for her and her mother? ( sponsor is mother's relation.) and Finally, Whats our chances of success if they are provided? PLEASE I NEED EXPIRIENCED RESPONSES FROM OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS HERE.

yea...u are right. I wrote d exam. initially I was afraid . i just did online preparation via Google to have a little idea of how it looks like in 2 weeks. I wrote d PTE exam n scored 63/99... wasn't dat easy becos I was under tension. but it was a very good score for what am looking for. so I also advice ppl to write d PTE instead of ielts.

Embassy will request for it just take your mind off it The exam is not difficult at all . If you understand English and can write and speak it why the fear? I advise PTE over IELTS because it is cheaper, Faster and easier

pls house, I was refused on the 12th of sept wen I checked my CIC account. but wen I checked on vfs , it read dat my processed passport has been dispatched to visa application center Lagos on the 19th of sept. pls I am in IMO, and I want to Go and pick my passport on Wednesday being 28th Sept. my question is, will my passport be ready since vfs has not sent me any text for pick up.?

I tell u. all u need do its to write d English exam ( IELTS ) and pas with 7 points at least. get a school with it. dia masters Feb 2017 intake its ongoing now. its easier to get admission dia dan in Canada. and pay ur tuition at least half or a bit more Dan. I hav a family friend dat would have done my...bt I was so blinded with Canada and I dint take my English exam serious becos i had all my mind in Canada. now d guy who happens to be a priest in Australia has taken 3 of his siblings to Australia and is doing for his cousin presently. wen he spoke with my sis he said his friends hav been paying money into his account since 4 months to enable him do a sponsor for d guy n also pay part of d tuition. d guy has passed the English exam which is valid for 2 yrs. My people ....me, I can't spend a dim for Canada waka again.... Its better I start organizing myself for a good alternative. its purely a personal decision . dis Canada game of luck no d work for evey body...its full of uncertainties n d treat Nigerians as if we ar lesser humans and d ar small gods. am full of regrets now becos I have lost dis yr. and d kind money dat is needed no dey around me now. my bro @ michV, Canada looks like d most difficult wen it comes to study permit packaging n processes.... if u check u would notice dat most visa processing agents dont rush to do Canada student visa, some of dem even lack d information n knowledge we gain by being here in Nairaland . most of us here ar well informed Dan diz ppl parading as agents.
once u ar exposed to Canada pattern, most countries would be easy for u. d tin its dat Canada seems to be cheaper, English speaking as in no English exam required and with more opportunities ...dat is y we ar tripping oooo. but dat dia TRV d be like dem d give u ticket to HEAVEN. very shroud set of people.
