Good evening Everyone. I need to share this with you guys. I posted a floor plan of 3 bedroom someone designed for me and I asked for contributions which you guys responded and the architect was taking the corrections until one stanley000 quoted that I should contact him for a better design. I actually did two nights ago and I’ll share our conversations with you. This @stanley asked me today is I am mad and that he’s my father’s mate all because of 20k design.

The design is entirely faulty.
The client also contributed to it, he said he needs the space to be managed so as to build in future too.
And there are specific shapes certain structures must take to make it functional.
We have the following category of spaces in residential building
1. Public
2. Semi private.
3. Private
If the designer had designed using the above approach, the building would have taken a specific shape and the spaces would av been very functional.
Now we have almost four lobbies in 3 bedroom bungalow.

Just wondering what purpose the space behind the arrowed wall will serve. Take another look at that.

With a moderate finishing,a 5 bedrooms bungalow as at now will cost between 25-27million naira.

Make the following changes

Change the 3 bedroom to master bedroom
Extend the 3 bedroom to the Kitchen wall and balcony
Put door from the Kitchen to the Dinning room
Extend balcony to the left

1. Remove the door D2 between the lobby and the ante room and wall up the opening.
2. Remove completely the two walls between the family lounge and the lobby. This will increase the size of your family lounge..
3. Ignore the balcony by the dinning and wall up the exist door opening there.
4. Also, increase the size of the window at the entrance porch for better illumination.

This is the new design after he removed the Dinning balcony and added the space to family lounge. He also closed the door at the ante room and wall it. Please check it out and let me if it’s good to go.

That 3 bedroom bungalow is too tedious.
Tge lobbies will be very dark. You will need artificial light even in the afternoon.
The architect must av worked according to how you want it to be. The breath of the building is 12.5m, I'm sure you ain't approving the design.
Have you seen how the site plan will look like? What about the roof plan? The building has a lot of recesses which will have impacts on the roof.

Note to all: Don't let 3ds decide your building designs. The functionality is a great deal. (The 3ds of buildings like these always look extra fantastic.)

And here we go again, small family lounge.
I don't know the reason for all these small parlours, when you could easily remove the Wall and incorporate the lobby into the lounge.

For me, the sitting room should be as large as possible. Remove the walls and if possible Use only one entrance in front instead of two

I don't like how all the bedroom doors (3) are kissing each other. Well, it's your choice though

Good morning everyone. Please I need fair budget for 3 bedroom. The land is a plot 50/100 I want to manage space it’s a close and I won’t be able to turn vehicle outside and lastly I want to save the remaining land for future because I’d like to build something on it in future. I need the breakdown of it from cutting of grass to the last thing. Thanks

I can send you a blow by blow expense from a bungalow done last year in Ibadan but prices have changed. Quantities might still be the same depending on your building plan.

Unfortunately in this current climate you won’t get far but you can at least get started and motivated.

You’re looking at N1.6M to get to this level. It’s a 2 bedroom plus 1 bedroom flat joined together. I think I can finish it moderately for another N2M.

Just trying to show you a real life exercise instead of theory.

Tithe thieves defending each other. The free money they get every week from the poor and gullible has gotten into their head . I don't blame them; I blame our government for allowing these scumbags rub us in the name of religion.

Kill freeze if you like , a good number of us have come to realize that you all are thieves that defraud people in God's name to get money which you use to build hospitals and schools for the rich and live luxuriously. The bigger thieves are the White guys who print and sell these silly so called "holy" books you guys use in defrauding the gullible. How will a God that created the universe all by himself need you to work for him now by collecting money from others ? Thieves.

If you think by giving these scammers your hard earned money you're supporting the "work of God". Sorry to inform you that God has finished his work of Creation. You are supporting the work of these scammers.

If you think you give to God when you give to these thieves. Sorry to announce to you that your money will end up in a bank account that can only be accessed by these thieves and their families and cronies.

Believe me, over time, whether you like it or not, a lot more Nigerians will come to their senses and realize that these religions are organized scams.
