u don't need to submit return envelope when submitting through vac.may is not too late for september start date.

lucky Don: Since u are submitting ur app personally to Vac,u can get it on the day of submission by rushing to CID headquarters in the morning...i heard it just takes a few hours to get.also go with a passport photo and a photocopy of ur int'l passport data page.

Documents i submitted were all the forms from the CDHC website, my employment letter, letter of introduction, payslip, bank account, NYSC discharge, SSCE result, University statement of result, a copy of my Id card and my pension statement, affidavit.

Then my bros account statement, Id card (photocopy)data page of his passport (please note say i no submit any pissure of my family members). Letter from his office, letter of promotion, fixed account.

Thats all i can remember for now as my docs still dey with them.

Onye oma: In as much as English is sometimes waived for engineering programmes in Nigeria, he's heading to a country where English language is a very determinant factor in admission of students for studies...if and only if he wrote a TOEFL or IELTS exam, he can use it in place of English and submit only the main certificate (cos in the questionnaire, emphasis is laid on English language qualification since its not our 1st language). If otherwise,he should try his best possible to attach the back-up certificate in which he made a credit in English Language. Let's not give any room for story telling...

buchxx: Submit the original of the one u gave cdhc,they are intrested in ur university prerequisite. No buy job for urself

If they ask for original waec give it to them,especially if its up to 3-5 yrs u took the exam.If urs is may/june go back to ur school and ask for it,if its not ready let them give u a written note.if its nov/dec go to waec office of the state u took it;they will tell u what to do.online print out should be when u have exhausted both options. Just give dem reason if uarnt submitting originals.

buchxx: what i meant is that u write a formal letter addressed to them.in the subject write SUBMISSION OF ORIGINAL DOCUMENTs.
Then, the body u write :please find enclosed the original documents for my study application.they are listed in this order
.1 bsc certificate- original. U continue like dat ,after all ,another paragragh u write here are my details. Which after u end ur letter. I hope is clearer now

lucky Don: Call them and verify if they are still offering courier service,if not u take it to them.Courier charge depends on your location.

buchxx: @sampitts,since u use online application,u have no business with VFS, i would suggest you use courier dhl or ups so u can track ur original documents and know its delivered,it usually takes a day.remember to put it in writing with ur personal details.
prices depends on location but from s/e and s/s is between 2000k-2500k.or take it to them if ur in lagos

Anybody used the on-line platform for their TRV application lately? I have uploaded my files but unable to pay the required fees with my debit cards. Has anybody succeded in doing this?? I need advise please......

GboyegaD: Did you upload it when you did your initial application, if yes, you would be fine.

GboyegaD: That's why we are here to share ideas. Just print it and then go do your medicals. If you are required to pay tuition, go ahead to do it and then upload the reciept as I am sure they would have made room for you to be able to upload it.

GboyegaD: Since you applied online, I do not think they will be sending you any physical document. If you read through the website, it was explicitly stated that all correspondence would be via electronic mail and I think it applies to all countries although I am not sure. Therefore, log in to your profile on the www.cic.gc.ca page and once you do all the necessary verifications, look down on the page where you have that you have submitted and your new mails should be there. It is most likely that you would have it in there for you to read and then print.
Here is a detailed step by step of what to do:

1. Go to the webpage: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/index-int.asp
2. One open, go to my application tab, use the drop button and select my application - main page.
3. Then click on apply online, and then Temporary Residence and sign on to your page.
4. Once verification is complete, it takes you to the page in the attached, look to the bottom and you should see your mails there, and I believe you should have it on there to print.
