The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Lagos Command, on Monday, paraded eight men, allegedly involved in selling the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) forms above its official price of N4,700 per copy.

The Lagos State Commandant, Mr. Cyprian Otoibhi, who paraded the suspects in Lagos, said that they were arrested during a joint operation with officials of JAMB.

According to Otoibhi, the suspects were selling each JAMB form for between N6,500 and N8,000.

A non-league footballer died tonight following an assault in which he sustained a suspected fractured skull, as police launch a murder investigation.

Jordan Sinnott, 25, who played for Matlock Town FC, was found unconscious following a disturbance in Retford, Nottinghamshire, in the early hours of Saturday morning.

His parent club, Alfreton Town, said that Sinnott – affectionately known as Sinbad – passed away just before 7pm, surrounded by his friends and family.

An ex-military officer, Silvanus Kwange has been left in shock after finding out that his son-in-law Christopher Chori. impregnated his second wife, Priscilla Kwange.

According to The Sun, Mr Kwange, a native of Tiv from Taraba State, has been married to Priscilla for about 10 years without a child. He married her after the demise of his first wife.

Mr Kwange was advised to send Priscilla packing but Christopher, his son-in-law married to his daughter Faith, advised him against this.

Faith and Christopher who have been married for over four years welcomed their first child in May 2019 but their joy was shortlived as she died a week after from complications from the caesarian section she underwent.
