Greetings house.
My wife who is a PhD student in Australia is planning to make a visa application for her dependant (husband and daughter).
At the moment, we don't have information if she have to pay another Visa fee which is around AUD620 for the above Visa.
Please any information on this house?

I have not started anything yet other than going online to look for schools for now. I will appreciate an extensive advise please

Thank you very much in advance

First of all, so sorry about your situation!

Yes you can fund yourself through school and you have high chances of getting your PR depending on the region you choose to study

I submitted the document requested by CO yesterday, but today the school mailed me to say I have to defer because school has resumed in July and I could not meet up due to a visa delay. What do I do? Should I immediately contact Immigration on the development and defer? Thanks

Just defer, you don't need to tell the immigration anything. Just get a new COE and send to home affairs. Your Grant will still come soon

Noo forge keh
The agent was saying that the banker can help me backdate the account
The truth is I don’t have that luxary of money to keep the money in the account for 3 month
So I don’t know if this is advisable because he said that the banker will be on standby Incase if DHA calls I don’t know how true this is

If the banker can do it then give it a try

Hello guys I just received update from CO to upload letter from employer. I have already requested for the letter from my employer but they are very slow at doing things. I’m thinking of using their letter to write myself. Do you please know if the embassy calls employers?

Talk to your employer about it, you can draft and take it to him to sign. Please when did you apply?

Good evening,

I’ve been reading from the beginning and I’m so confused still. I studied A.E.B (Zoology). Could you suggest a course I can do for M.Sc that can help in my PR pursuit? I’m married with kids too. How feasible is this? On the other thread, it seems tougher these days to get a nomination. So I’m looking for another alternative.

Kindly assist please. Many thanks

Are you already working with an agent? I think an agent will be in a better position to advice you. I would have suggested you go for Public Health but then Public Health doesn't even lead to PR

what do u suggest i do..?
this is really affectin me as i am missing many lectures alrdy due to clash with my work time here in Nigeria?..

I suggest you ask your agent to login to the immi account if you don't have access to the account and check if they are requesting for an extra document. Sometimes they might be requesting for extra documents and your agent might not pay attention.

Please is there anything I can do about this visa delay? Since they started giving priority to visa processing people who currently applied are getting their visa within a short period while people who applied since late last year and early this year are still in queue. Some people in a group where I am on Facebook said they reapplied and got visa visa within 2 months or so but I don't know if we should do same or still wait, in two days time will make it 5 months since we applied partner visa. Am really crying i miss my husband

So sorry about this, did your husband travel as a student?

I lodged application that same 24th June
Medicals : 28th June
Biometrics: 30th June.

Why did you have to stay that long before doing your medicals and Biometrics? Or is it associated with when the embassy requested for it?

Your visa will be out soon. In two to four weeks (estimated).

If your school starts in August, and your visa is granted after august, you can enter australia in September, November etc as you have asked.

However, if you defer your admission and changed your COE to reflect February start date and you are granted Visa for February next year, you cannot enter Australia in September. You have to be in the country a month before the start date.

Everything will written in your Visa once granted.

This is a wrong information, you can actually enter more than four Months before your study starts, all you need to do is get an extra health insurance to cover your period till when your study starts

Griffith are yet to send my new offer letter the first one was for march which I deferred to Oct but I'm yet to get the new offer letter since 2 months now. And I'm reading a lot of negative comments about Griffith on the timeline. My agent said it must be at least also 18m bank statement for Griffith.

I tell people who cares to listen to dump Griffith as quickly as possible. Those guys are clowns

Griffith almost did me strong thing too. Submitted statement of account and GTE docs and the wait game began.
It was when it wasn't forthcoming I sought for another alternative and I'm now in Australia. Please don't put your eggs in one basket with Griffith. Don't know why they are like that.

Griffith should be demoted to level 2 because they messed me up last year

Hello guys, I secured admission to UNSW through an agent last month.
The problem however is that the school fees is very expensive but my agent says that I can ALWAYS switch to another school for the same course when I get to Australia.
He also says that the entire Visa process will be easier since it is an L1 school.
I am just concerned about the possibility of switching to a cheaper school in a regional area whilst maintaining the same course.

Getting the Grant will be easier yes! But switching to a cheaper school? I don't know how possible presently
Do you guys think I should focus more on getting to Australia for now?
