jliusadura:
Hello U.I applicants, it is no longer news that the University of Ibadan has confirmed that there will be a written POST-UTME exam for candidates seeking admissions into the institution this year. According to the university tradition, POST-JAMB exam results will form the basis for admission cut-off marks. The implication is that the higher your POST-JAMB score the higher your chance of admission. This means that as an applicant you must strategize and do your best not only to pass the POST-JAMB exam but to meet with minimum cut-off of your department. Now, how do you achieve high score in U.I POST-UTME exam? There are basically two ways: being hard-working and being smart. Hard-work mostly has to do with reading which is very good and can help you to pass. However, being smart can give you extra advantage over others and help you not only to pass but score above the cut-off point. Many people read and pass but few people meet up with their departmental cut-off; they therefore end up not being admitted or admitted to study courses they don't like. There are many ways to be smart and one of them is the use of U.I POST-JAMB past questions for your preparations. The use of GENUINE past questions helps you to have insight into the scope and nature of the questions and therefore serve as guide. The problem with past questions is that there are many fake past questions out there; using fake past questions can lead to a big set back because building good structure on faulting foundation is obviously counter-productive. This is one of the problems I'm here to help you solve.
Note that my office is located in U.I and I'm very familiar with the workings of the institution. We have ORIGINAL and GENUINE University of Ibadan POST-JAMB past questions in ALL SUBJECTS for your use. To get it is easy, all you need is a valid e-mail address and follow these simple procedures:
Send your email address and your four JAMB subjects to 08066688887 requesting for U.I post jamb past questions.
Those in Ibadan can contact me at Suite 72, Agbowo Shopping Complex, Opposite U.I
If you are outside Ibadan, no problem just send sms to the number I provided above and you can get your questions within few hours.
If you have any question concerning U.I POST-JAMB exercise, feel free to contact me. I wish you success in your quest to be admitted into Nigeria's number one university.
Is the past question Free?

I really Don think the workings should be this long..whereas The obj answers are different from your final answer
Yeah, I didn't skip some steps for the sake of understanding.

And for the answer, it was simplified further ni..

√150 - √20 = √(25 × 6) - √(4 × 5)

= 5√6 - 2√5

OR √20 - √150 = 2√5 - 5√6

Find the square root of 170-20√30

I only used trial and error to get this. Help me out in details boss
Let's say

√(170 - 20√30) = √a - √b

square both sides.

170 - 20√30 = (√a - √b)²

170 - 20√30 = a - 2√ab + b

170 - 20√30 = a + b - 2√ab

comparing coefficient

a + b = 170

a = 170 - b ----- (1)

-2√ab = -20√30

√ab = 10√30

square both sides.

ab = 100(30)

ab = 3000------(2)

sub (1) into (2)

b(170 - b) = 3000

170b - b² = 3000

b² - 170b + 3000 = 0

b² - 150b - 20b + 3000 = 0

b(b - 150) - 20(b - 150) = 0

b = 20 or 150

sub b in (1)

a = 170 - b

a = 150 or 20

Re : √(170 - 20√30) = √a - √b

= √150 - √20

Mathematics

Express 130 kilometres per second in metres per hour.

solve without using calculator and show workings please
130km/s to m/h

Converting to m/s

(130 × 1000)m/1s = 130000m/s

To convert to m/h

(130000)m/(1/3600)h

= (130000×3600)m/h

= 468 × 10^6m/h

More grace to our elbows

Actually,we can't compare unilag academics level with UI(its like comparing kerosene with Acetylene)
you could see yourself that UNILAG accept less than 50 for some courses,whereas UI does not...it's all about maintaining a Standard Academics Level which Ui gives much preferences for.

issues of p.utme after some schools has already commence their screening is nothing....are we not here¿ when some schools started selling screening forms even when JAMB coc/coi is yet to be open then¡

Any University can decide on whatsoever they like,so far we still in Nigeria ( wherepolitics has ruined Main POW and EVERYTHINGER)
no one to control these schools even self the acclaimed Minister of Education is as corrupt asCIP founders.
Why can't you compare UI with Unilag?
undecided

Stop over-hyping UI jae.

I can't stop laughing because bringing back Putme doesn't mean students performances would improve and I believe the jamb and waec combo criteria is tougher than the Putme criteria

And incase you don't know it's most freshers get carried away with the Euphoria of getting into the university but unlike polytechnics you still have at least 3 years to correct that

And all those saying the student failed you mean they didn't perform well because they passed jamb and waec but didn't write UTME

So in the whole federation na for only UI freshers dey fail ?

Saying students failed because there was no PUTME is sham.

Before now you can get 200 in Jamb and still get MMBS but now ehn you no fit reason am
