The NNPCL is obviously the problem of this country. The early they removed that northern man ( Kyari ) the better for this country.

For those Chelsea fans who think Enzo is useless, hope you see how uncoordinated Chelsea was today without him in the midfield.

Meanwhile, Noni Madueke needs to be talked to, the dude scored hatrick some days ago, all of a sudden, he starts feeling like he's the new Ronaldo and Messi in town by overdoing things. The dude needs to be calming downundecided

Well done Blues !!!

The heading is misleading, he was never the substantive coach of the team just a caretaker on interim. So why use the word "quit" ?

Eh be like say dem swear for chelsea players...awon oloriburuku
And Jackson squandered two clear goal chances in two minutes

You see the undoing of this Chelsea team will be the Management's failure to get a good striker with a killer instinct.

Can you imagine that the management got carried away by that 6:2 fluke at wolves last week and they refused to sign a good striker. undecided

Sports / Re: They Have Brought In The Disastrous Eguavoen Through The Backdoor by Samunique(m): 11:57am On Sep 01
MadPolitician:

I can't put it better. Yusuf and Laddan Bosso are really the remaining part of the unholy trinity. The keep coming back, no matter the magnitude of thier failures or the enermosity of their scandals. Nothing stops them. Once there is an opening for a coaching job within the national teams, and they're dragging their feet at the NFA, just know that they're bidding their time before unleashing anyone of these three.

Eguavoen will still come back again, even if we get trashed out of the world cup qualifiers this coming weekend. Yusuf was banned by FIFA for corruption, but they shamelessly managed to smuggle him in through the backdoor. Amuneke discovered the likes of Osimhen and Chukwueze in the under 16s, you would think that this will earn him another stint, but no. Bosso has to be at the helm. I even heard they're introducing quota system into all these. So if the coach of the Super Eagles is a northerner, that of the flying Eagles must be a southerner or so.. lol. Crazy bunch.

The whole thing is frustratingly infuriating
You couldn't have said it better 👍👍👍👏

Sports / Re: They Have Brought In The Disastrous Eguavoen Through The Backdoor by Samunique(m): 11:21pm On Aug 31
MadPolitician:
Eguavoen is not good enough. It's that simple. He lacks the technical expertise and is totally bereft of ideas. He has had more oppurtuinities than any other Nigerian ex international to make a mark at the helms of the Super Eagles, but has failed consistently. Yet, as is typical of Nigerias administrative set up, the more he fails, the more he's reappointed. He basically cost the nation the qualification for the last world cup. They have smuggled him in again to do what he knows how to do best; torpedo our world cup qualification.

People tend to forget that Eguavoen sent us packing from the USA world cup in 1994. But he is seldom called out for that primitive defending that did the super Eagles in with that easy penalty for Italy. I don't know how he managed to wriggle his way up the ladder with the technical committee, but the super Eagles have been at his mercy ever since. He seem to have a very weird agreement with the NFA that should be investigated. The NFA never seem serious about getting serious coaches and will quickly smuggle his name in, even when his resume is enmeshed in disaster.

They have handed the Eagles job back to him again. He will blow things up in few days time as usual and they will quickly send him back to the "technical committee " from where he will be unleashed the next time they need his services. They are running the almighty NFA like you would run a pigsty. Eguavoen is not good enough. It is not a statement of hate, it is a statement of facts. There are many ex internationals better than him. There are many African nations poorer than Nigeria that can boast of better coaches. We can not go far in international competitions if we keep selecting him to head different sports agencies here. We can do better.

That very man ( Augustine Eguavoen) Salisu Yusuf and Laddan Boso, Most especially, Augustine Eguavoen are the evil bedeviling Nigerian football. Until he ( Eguavoen ) is taking out of the way by the sport ministry or the presidency, you see that man juju has bewitched and hypnotized everybody in the glass house.

Those three aforementioned guys are the mysterious agents of darkness behind Nigerian football failure, apart from the plague of corruption.

The rest are just common thieves!!!!
