Hello Gurus, please I need advice with my mum's visiting application. She is 65 years old of age and not working.

I have been in the UK for 8 Years, I have 3 kids. I & my husband has our indefinite leave to remain in the UK but all our kids are British citizens.

I am not working due to the circumstances that surrounded my last child's Birth. I am presently a student and i am receiving student finance but my husband is working and earn more than £2,500 months. My husband want to sponsor her trip.

I have not visited Nigeria since I came into UK and I'm not ready to because of my child health issues. This time we re submitting her statement of account, to support her application as she received monthly feeding allowance from us.

Please I need guide and advice on how to go about my mum's application as she was refused 3years ago because we did not submit her statement of account.

Hi guys,
Got to the embassy 6.40am(had to becos of the lagos unpredictable traffic) as my interview was for 9.30am... I was allowed inn around 8.15am and I was the first person to called for the interview.

ECO:Good Morning
Me: Good morning Sir
ECO: You filed an appeal last year and we got the determination letter, can you tell me the reason why you are refused.
Me: Yes! (1) That I did not provide enough evidence of communication. (2) Lack knowledge about husband being divorced before.
ECO: Checking some information on the file in front of him and typing fast. Are you still married to your husband.
Me: Smiled yes ofcouse
ECO: When last did you see your husband
Me: March, this year and we both traveled to Dubai last year October
ECO: Ok. Any changes in your documents
Me: Not really, my passport has been changed to my husband's name.
ECO: Are you here with your passport
Me: Yes (Brought out the two passport and gave them to him).
ECO: We would get back to you next week. Thank you for coming
Me: Thank you too.

That's my feedback on my visit to the BDHC, Lagos. I pray that by the time I will have my passport back it will be stamp with family permit visa.

Thanks

Willwin, u won and got your letter of determination before me and they are yet to reach you. Please bro, send them a mail and attached the letter you got from the judge.

@Justwise
I would like to use this opportunity to appreciate you for your last advise concerning my appeal hearing. We wrote a letter to the tribunal informing them that we are not using our lawyer again that my husband will be my representative, 16days after the hearing day, I got a letter of determination on 26th July, 2015 that I'm allowed meaning that I won the case. My hubby write a letter to the embassy and he attached the determination letter and I wrote them a letter 4 days after. The embassy rang me last week that I will be having an interview tomorrow that I should come with my passport alone.

Gurus, please what does that mean? Will they do another interview for me?
