I am quite disappointed by your response. We encourage researching and asking questions. I would have appreciated you asking me to rephrase my post. I gave all details cuz I see where ppl don't reply cuz they feel ppl aren't reading thru. I just wanted them to understand that I have done my own research and I need advice that's all sanddieo: I am not advertising. Just seeking information.
I only kept reposting because I never saw my post
Please I thought it was a forum where clarifications are made. I Read about ppl falling into wrong hands. I am a first time mum and don't want to run into issues.
I guess my post was never approved cuz I kept searching for replies and didn't see any. Just looking for ppl with recent experience |

What you are doing is as good as an ad for that hospital. |

They collect only four documents when you do drop box. - Passport with expired visa - DS- 160 form - Letter of interview waiver - GTB teller
I think you should make up your mind on what you want to do, either apply for an interview or do the dropbox and if they are not satisfied they will call you in for an interview, this you have no power over. As long as all bills were paid for i think you are good. quote author=Omodadi2 post=61738164]Good evening mamas, I am about applying for dropbox, and I think i should ask here if theres any legal way to avoid bin invited for interview. Can one send all receipts/zero balance letters when sending passport? since i read here that they only want to be sure that we paid our bills.
I applied and got my B1/B2 in January 2016 with my hubby, went for childbirth, paid bills and came back home jejely without overstaying or any illegal drama. The time to travel if invited is really an issue for me, this is why i want to explore options if available.[/quote] |

If the soft copy of your passport doesn't meet the passport requirements it wont upload. I had them email me a soft copy rather than using a scanned copy and it worked. maybe you should try that OnJosh1: Hello anonymous Mum and everyone, I'm a first time US Mum to be, I completed my Visa application already and my passport pic that was uploaded (At this point I might as well say tried to upload) did not show up on the confirmation page however my Hubby's own did. My friend's sister that helped my husband and I with our application said I could go ahead for the interview with the hard copy passport. Going by your post now. Please will this be a problem?
P.S: I just registered on Nairaland (I'm not sure how to quote well, I hope I get it first time) but have gone through the thread in the past two/three weeks as a Guest and learnt a lot of things. Thanks to everyone sharing. I pray to share my own experiences (VO, PoE, Delivery, Documentation, etc) by GOD'S Grace.
I'll do my best not to ask questions that have already been addressed. But please forgive my ignorance if I come across as JJC in my questions that will surely come ♀️♀️. Thanks |

Thank you so much salsera: What you filled was the appointment scheduling. It will carry the code for your previous DS 160 there. Please cancel. Look for DS 160 form http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ng/ng-niv-ds160complete.asp Note above it says COMPLETE before scheduling appointment
DS160 https://ceac.state.gov/genniv/ Use your previous email add and password.
When you done filling it and submitting you'll have the new code. Go back to schedule appointment and start a new process. Just make sure the code on your new DS 160 is what you fill there(delete previous one)
Whether you do dropbox or schedule appointment is up to you. |

Good day. pls i will apprecaite a quick inputon this. I have a valid visa that's expiring in november. My application qualifies for a dropbox (i just filled the form using my old profile but i am yet to submit). i also read on this page that i need a ds160 form for the dropbox but i wasnt asked to fill any. The number of my old form was still attached.
Now should i go ahead with the dropbox since i applied now for a B2 visa and not consider going for another interview? 2) How do i now get the DS160 form i am supposed to submit with other documents for the dropbox |
