Thank u. even the apostles where not in anywhere addressed as "Apostle Paul/John/Peter/Papa/Father". what i see is"Paul, the apostle" not "Apostle Paul". Why do we call this men of God with several titles attached before there names.

I'm a single, i understand this question might sound funny. Pls,How can i be sure i would perform excellently with my wife if i get married. is there any checks i can do for myself.

To be honest, the bible teaches that denominationalism is sinful. catholic and the rest of the church today bear names which are not found in the scriptures. there are christians in the bible, interestingly, they are not catholic,RCCG,DEEPER LIFE,METHODIST,ANGLICAN,CAC to name but a few.

We call Paul "Paul", Peter "Peter", John "John". we even call Jesus "Jesus". Throughout the new testament, titles were not attached to followers of Christ. Why do we give titles (Reverend, Pastor, Bishop)to people we call men of God today?

For Christians, i Cor 16:1-2, 2cor. 8:12, 2 Cor 9:6-7 is enough. Tithe was meant for the old testament worshippers. The bible speaks of GIVING for the Christians and not tithe. Churches in the new testament contributed but this was not tithe. Those who capitalise on tithe refers to the old testament. Read II Cor. 3:14.Pls, visit 'Church of christ' nearest you.
