Nice one... more awareness is needed and also the economy is to be considered |
That is correct but pls lets tune it down... Our muslim population is about 40-45% so if we boycott or fail to recognize the 2027 elections, the rest of the populace which is majority of about 55/60% including animists, traditional and Christians will definitely still legally override us... So we need to find a balance here? I see no cogent reason not to recognize the polls by this man, if he can guarantee a free and fair election... ![]() SisterAnn: |

So there exists another God apart from the Monarch of the Universe? This God of Shiloh, pls tell us more about his attributes... Meanwhile talking of the place Shiloh as described in the Bible, its not a good place ...if you read your Bible well. Shiloh is described negatively in parts of the Bible because it became a symbol of corruption, disobedience, and divine judgment. Although it was once the central sanctuary where the tabernacle and Ark of the Covenant were kept, the misconduct of priests and the unfaithfulness of the people led to God allowing its destruction, turning Shiloh into a cautionary tale of what happens when a sacred place is defiled. How and Why Shiloh became bad: Why Shiloh Became “Bad” Corruption of priests: Eli’s sons, Hophni and Phinehas, abused their priestly roles, exploiting worshippers and showing contempt for God’s offerings (1 Samuel 2). Loss of the Ark: In battle with the Philistines, Israel carried the Ark from Shiloh as a talisman. The Ark was captured, symbolizing God’s withdrawal of protection (1 Samuel 4). Divine judgment: Jeremiah later pointed to Shiloh’s destruction as a warning to Jerusalem — if God judged Shiloh for unfaithfulness, He could do the same to the temple in Jerusalem (Jeremiah 7:12–14). Ruins as a warning: By the time of the prophets, Shiloh was in ruins, remembered as a place where God’s presence departed due to disobedience. whytediamond: |

That means there is so much confusion that we don't even know the true ages, times and seasons...everything is just relative... Maybe science can accurately help in this AI age... |
Catholic means Universal... Church of Rome, is like saying Church of England aka Anglican Church, that is why they specifical identified their own as Roman Catholic Church, It was not by chance. btoks: |
Shocking you said all the Sees are united under Rome...totally untrue and unfounded, unless of course you don't understand what and where the Sees stand. You are totally mistaken and continue to use the term Catholic church interchangeably with the Roman Catholic Church. They are not the same when you consider the nitty gritty. And no their are very divergent doctrines when move from West to Eastern Orthodoxy, Coptic or Ethopian churches. Most chruches around the Western worlds and most of African minus Egypt and Ethiopian/ Nile axis have very different doctrine. One major division is the nature of the sonship of Christ with the Holy Spirit called Filioque... The Filioque Controversy (Holy Spirit) Roman Catholicism: Teaches that the Holy Spirit proceeds from both the Father and the Son ("Filioque" .... ![]() Eastern Orthodox, Coptic, Ethiopian: Believe the Holy Spirit proceeds only from the Father, rejecting the Filioque addition. Those other Orthodoxies are also not merchandising Christianity like the Western part do...so also less flamboyancy... ![]() Kobojunkie: |
You are mistaken, Catholic Church and Roman Catholic church are not the same thing. You need to take a cue and study the history of the early church and apostolic track. Most of the early apostles were killed in Rome or by Rome, they have nothing to do with the Roman Catholic church which was remodeling of the Roman part of the Pentarchy when they claimed first among equals. Penta means five episcopal Sees, as they were five main church centers back then, including Jerusalem, Antioch(Antakya, Turkey), Constantinople(Istanbul, Türkiye) , Alexandria(Egypt) and Rome(Italy). This is why Vatican calls itself the Holy See. So go and learn your history and thank me later... ![]() Heffalump: |
I see your point, but start by explaining this your signature statement so the suits of Pentecostal pastors can be evaluated against that of the cassocks of the clergy of the church of Rome a.k.a Roman Catholic Church, RCC... which is a breakaway entity from the Universal Catholic or Orthodoxy hence you have Eastern Orthodoxy and Western Orthodoxy way long ago before the coming of the so called new generation or Pentecostal churches. Its one of the richest corporations in the world... Most of their wealth comes from real estate(lands, schools, hospitals, museums, etc) and other investments... The true wealth of the church of Rome will never be known as most of tied up in thru webs of trusts and portfolio investments Paintings, sculptures and other artifacts,,, Don't forget they sold indulgences(sins) in the middle ages... that means rich folks can buy their salvation and wash their sins away in exchange for cash or other valuables |

Go and read the article in the links again, but read it slowly this time... But lets help here with few paragraphs from the new article... PunchNG/SaharaReporters: The figure was disclosed in a document presented by the NNPCL to the Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) during its February meeting in Abuja, PUNCH reports. The government has outlined a plan to clear the outstanding subsidy within 210 days, according to the document obtained by our correspondent. The report revealed that the subsidy debt initially stood at N10.499 trillion, but N2.756 trillion was recovered between November 2023 and September 2024, bringing the balance to N7.74 trillion. A month-by-month breakdown showed how the debt steadily increased: June 2023 – N1.402 trillion; July 2023 – N1.48 trillion; October 2023 – N1.81 trillion; March 2024 – N4.68 trillion; June 2024 – N6.97 trillion, and September 2024 – N7.74 trillion. The subsidy amount represents 14.07% of Nigeria’s N54.99 trillion 2025 national budget. In August 2024, it was reported that the NNPCL requested a refund of N4.71 trillion from the government for petrol imports. nairalanda1: |
The same people that hired comedians and rented crowd to protest when GEJ wanted to remove the subsidy are the crew claiming today that they have removed subsidy... yet NNPC is still paying importers for under-recovery, the new name for subsidy... Check the two links below before we carry megaphone to shout.. shamsidy is gun... https://www.legit.ng/business-economy/energy/1607172-nnpc-sends-message-fg-petrol-imports-landing-costs-cost-increases-high/ https://www.nairaland.com/8358255/fg-confirms-plan-pay-7.7 nairalanda1: |
You have been lied to or you refused to consider the empirical data. When did the subsidy payment stop, that is if it has even stopped? What about the recent news of over 7 Trillions NNPC was to pay importers? To help entire countries you need to show how many million barrels are being physically smuggled across the various borders around Western and Northern Nigeria? Lats look at 5 million liters per day? tell how many trucks needs to do that round trip? We are talking over over 300 trucks daily? nairalanda1: |
Do you know how many liters Niger or all those other countries need as daily consumption? Do you know how many truck or millions of jerrycans are need to meet even 10% of those daily needs? Smuggling may help few communities closer to the border but definitely not an entire nation... So it remains what is ... pure propaganda... nairalanda1: |
